The food was outstanding from start to finish, but the steak was the real star of the show—mouthwatering perfection. The venue is beautiful, the service is impeccable, there’s convenient parking on-site, and the prices are incredibly reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. What genuinely surprised me was that the restaurant wasn’t packed. Places serving food this good deserve queues out the door. Des La Vies is a hidden gem that deserves far more attention, so consider this my official shout-out. If you’re a steak lover, this is an absolute must-try. I think I’ve just found my new favourite steak spot. 🥩🔥”

  “Had a wonderful dining experience here with a group of 5 friends, and everyone loved their meal! The service stands out immediately the staff are very professional and welcoming. The food was incredible across the board. The Arrabbiata pasta had the perfect flavor, the meat sauce was absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect end to the night. Highly recommend !”

  “This place is fantastic- the food is delicious. We had the steak board which was great value for 4 people. The decor is lovely and gives it a great atmosphere. The only one complaint is that's its cold. Make sure you wrap up warm. If you like steak thus is a must try. Way better than the chain place up the road!!!”

  “This was my first visit to Delaviz, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with tasteful interior design, and Italian music playing in the background added a nice touch to the ambiance. For food, I ordered Soltani Kebab and Baghali Polo with Mahicheh, along with Kashk Bademjan as a starter, which was served with high-quality bread. The kebabs were excellent. The Barg Kebab was well-marinated, very tender, and cooked perfectly. The rice, however, was quite oily and could have been lighter. I personally did not enjoy the Mahicheh as much, as it had a slightly raw meat taste. I hope this was due to the marinade rather than storage issues. Interestingly, my wife liked it a lot, so this may come down to personal preference. Customer service was polite and respectful. However, the restaurant is quite large and only one waiter was managing the whole area. Even on a quiet day, having only one server felt a bit unfair and inefficient. One negative point was an unusual question from the waiter asking whether I would like to give a tip, despite a 10% service charge already being included in the bill. I found this uncomfortable and unnecessary. In conclusion, this was my first visit and I will definitely return to explore more of the menu. The restaurant has only minor flaws, and overall I would recommend it to others.”

  “We had an absolutely fantastic experience dining here with our group of eight. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they were especially kind and attentive to the children in our party, which made the evening even more enjoyable for everyone. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and relaxed — perfect for a family setting. It struck a wonderful balance between feeling special and still being comfortable for all ages. The food was outstanding. The steaks were of excellent quality, cooked beautifully and full of flavour. There was also a great selection of other dishes, including delicious pasta options and a wide range of sides to suit everyone at the table. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!”

  “A Hidden Gem in Bearwood – Steak Perfection! I’ve been to this steak place in Bearwood several times now, and every single visit has been outstanding. Tucked away from the main road, it’s a real hidden gem — the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell everyone about because it’s that good. I was never really a steak person before, but that completely changed the moment I tasted theirs. Cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and always consistently amazing. I genuinely can’t get enough of it now! The restaurant itself is spot on, cosy, welcoming, and just the right atmosphere whether you're going for a casual dinner or something a bit more special. The staff are friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re a steak lover or even if you’re not this place will convert you. Can’t recommend it highly enough!”
