  “Unreal. Tastes even better than the Mexican food that I enjoyed in Mexico. The chef can really cook. I don't even like coriander/cilantro, but I happily ate this meal that was full of it. I finished my meal and then felt sad because the experience was over. It was a special menu today so I had birria tacos with queso and mango horchata and my husband enjoyed the chicken enchiladas from the normal menu. The pricing was really affordable. The staff are friendly. This is my second time here and it won't be my last.”

  “We had such a wonderful lunch today at A La Mexicana Authentic Mexican Food and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. I visited with a very special friend and the whole experience from start to finish was warm, relaxed and genuinely memorable. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic. The staff were incredibly attentive throughout our visit without ever being intrusive. Everyone was so friendly, cheerful and accommodating, and it really added to the experience. It’s rare to find service that feels so genuine these days, but the team here made us feel valued and looked after from the second we arrived until we left. The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the veggie tacos and they were honestly some of the best I’ve had, beautifully presented, packed with fresh ingredients and full of vibrant flavour. Every bite tasted fresh and homemade, with the perfect balance of seasoning and texture. You could really taste the quality and care that goes into the cooking. My friend chose the veggie burrito with spicy rice and it looked incredible when it arrived. The portion size was generous and the spicy rice added a fantastic kick without overpowering the dish. The burrito itself was bursting with flavour, hearty, satisfying and cooked perfectly. We both kept commenting on how delicious everything was throughout the meal. What made the visit even more special was the overall atmosphere. It felt like the perfect place to slow down, enjoy great food and good company. The restaurant has such a friendly, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer and come back again soon. It’s clear that A La Mexicana Authentic Mexican Food takes real pride in both its food and customer service. Delicious authentic food, lovely staff, excellent service and a genuinely enjoyable dining experience all round. We left happy, full and already talking about returning. If you’re looking for fresh, flavourful Mexican food served by people who truly care about their customers, this place is an absolute gem. Highly, highly recommended!”

  “Came here with friends and family, this is not the first the food is always been great. Not complain I would go again very soon and try different dishes. Affordable as well you are not going to regret, and it also fill you up.always better to book in advise as the kitchen close at 20:00.”

  “The food here was absolutely sensational! It is comparable to the food in Mexico, truly authentic and full of flavour. We ordered the tacos, burrito & fajitas! The cocktails were amazing and weren’t too strong or weak! The service was also good, the waitress greeted us with a smile and didn’t mind us requesting more of their delicious salsa sauce! I will definitely be returning for their taco Tuesday !!!”

  “Came here for my birthday and it was just wonderful! Delicious food, friendly service and they surprised me with cake 😭😭😭I constantly crave Mexican food having grown up with lots of it available. So having this relatively near by is amazing. It tastes just how I hoped. Other places can't compete. Thank you for making my day 🥰”

  “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A La Mexicana – Bearwood I recently visited A La Mexicana in Bearwood, and it instantly transported me back to Mexico! The flavours are incredibly authentic, vibrant and full of life – you can truly taste the love and tradition in every bite. To start, I ordered Nachos, guacamole 🥑 and Al Ajillo, and they were absolutely delicious. The guacamole was fresh and creamy, the nachos perfectly crisp, and the Al Ajillo packed such mouth-watering flavour that I could’ve happily eaten another plate! For my main, I had Tacos 🌮 with Pastor and Shrimp 🦐 along with some Tostadas, and honestly, they were some of the best I’ve had outside of Mexico. The Pastor was beautifully seasoned, the shrimp was juicy and tender, and the Tostadas had that perfect crunch that brought everything together. To top it all off, I enjoyed a very tasty margarita – refreshing, balanced, and the perfect finish to an incredible meal. The staff were so warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It felt just like being back in Mexico – amazing food, friendly atmosphere, and the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Oh and did you know they are the Regional Winner for Best Mexican Establishment, Midlands from the Food Awards England 2025. 🥇 Highly recommended – a true gem! 🇲🇽✨”

  “Fantastic service and food. Definitely a hidden gem and also check out the specials board. Enchiladas Verde off the specials board was amazing and never had churros so fresh before. Can't wait to come back and try something different.”
