About Windsor Café
Windsor Café is a café and breakfast restaurant on Midland Bldg in Skegness, serving a carvery with a three-tier price structure based on the number of meat slices, with unlimited vegetables included at every level. The carvery comes with homemade Yorkshire puddings, and cauliflower cheese is available alongside it. A weekend roast dinner with pudding is also offered, and the breakfast menu covers a fry-up and beans on toast. Tea is served in pots. Ordering is done at the till, and the café takes walk-ins rather than reservations, opening daily. The step-free entrance suits visitors with mobility needs, and high chairs are on hand for families with young children. Outdoor seating is available for those who prefer to sit outside, and dogs are welcome throughout the café.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the sharpest criticism. One reviewer found the bacon badly undercooked and the toast not properly done. Another waited a long time for a fry up before learning it had gone to the wrong table, and was given a free sausage and pot of tea. A third says a group of six was handed nine sugar sachets for six pots of tea and refused more, so someone went next door to buy a bag of sugar.

“Turned up for breakfast and immediately realised I’d made a terrible life choice. The food arrived looking like it had only briefly heard about heat from across the room. My bacon was so undercooked it still had hopes and dreams. The atmosphere was… lively. Let’s just say the clientele gave strong “daytime TV courtroom audience” energy. I half expected someone to start arguing over who stole whose vape. Staff were friendly enough, but honestly, I’ve been to motorway service stations at 3am that felt more refined. Would I return? Only if the toast finishes cooking by next week.”

“First time eating at the Windsor Cafe. The carvery offers a three tier price structure for the meals. Starting at £9.99 for one slice of meat and as much veg as you like. The portion was generous and so delicious. The cauliflower cheese was to die for. The whole meal was excellent. Will definitely return. 100% recommended”
