“It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! “Had the Bottomless Bruch which was really good value. Our friendly waiter, Will, made us feel very welcome and looked after us. He passed on my specific egg requirements to the chef who did them perfectly- just how I like them! Very happy - would highly recommend.”

“Hope was the person serving us tonight. She was so accomataing to sit us outside in this heat! Lovely as soon as we walked through the door. The most kind smile. Out with a friend going through a hard time and walking in to here and having such a friendly & welcoming waiter made the night ever better. Been so lovely and made the experience better! You should hope for hope if you visit!!! (all the staff are lovely)”

“A special birthday Afternoon Tea Party for a group of 35+ guests - all handled with care and friendly efficiency. Perfect size & light it was a pretty room for the group with privacy yet still feeling in the hub of this lively trendy venue with easy access to the bar , loos, fresh air, photo booth and outdoor space. Service was discreet but always good willed and helpful. Having the 1st drink vouchers was really helpful and staff willingness to carefully wrap up some left overs at the end was a bonus. Only gave 3 * for food not for the execution, that was faultless, more because the menu was over "fancy" - a good light Victoria sponge and some simple "old school" finger sandwich fillings would have been even better. That said the homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were delicious !”

“We had a great afternoon here and would definitely recommend it. It’s a lovely venue with plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a perfect place to enjoy a drink on a warm summer’s day. The atmosphere was busy, vibrant and welcoming, with a good mix of age groups. There were a few private parties taking place in the rooms available to hire and outside, including hen parties and birthday celebrations, but it never felt overcrowded. Despite being busy, there were plenty of staff behind the bar, so we didn’t have to wait long to be served. A special mention goes to Will, who looked after us brilliantly. He was friendly, attentive and provided excellent service throughout. There was a great choice of cocktails, and although we didn’t eat this time, the restaurant looked lovely and the menu looks good. Being on Ecclesall Road added to the experience too, with all the other busy bars creating a fantastic summer atmosphere. Overall, a really lively, welcoming venue with excellent service, great drinks and a brilliant vibe. We’ll definitely be back!”
