Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch is what most reviewers come for, with several praising the long list of drinks, quick top-ups from friendly staff and the value of the deal. One describes strong cocktails, especially the raspberry cooler, while another found the pizza nice but heavy on tomato. Beyond brunch, diners single out one of the nicest burgers they have had, plus pizza, chips and the in-house Meat Lust sauces. A longtime regular uses it on matchdays, with beers for the adults and a kids menu with good variety and portions, and others like having live sport on. The caveats are mostly about atmosphere: one visitor found the music really loud and the room very busy, one visit on a Monday lunchtime felt virtually empty, and one drinker left after a single pint that tasted sour. Even when packed with hen groups on a Saturday afternoon, one reviewer found getting served at the bar easy, and another picked up a loyalty card on the way out.

“Top boozer and food is decent too, I've been using this place nearly 20 years since my student days, now if im out with my mates and kids on a matchday we go here i can have a few beers and the kids have food and watch the footy on the tvs the kids menu has good variety and portions are good value for money. Pint prices are same as everywhere else in the vicinity.”

“Went in for 1 drink and left quickly afterwards, the beer tasted sour like they hadn’t done a line clean in a long time, heard several patrons openly talking positively of Tommy Robinson which didn’t make us feel great either. The staff did seem friendly and we were served efficiently”

“An extremely busy bar that seems to cater for bottomless brunch deals. There were lots of staff on site and getting served at the bar was easy despite it being so busy. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and all the tables were filled with hen groups etc having a great time.”

“Went for a bottomless brunch with my partner for his birthday, the staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and attentive, really nothing was too much, the brunch was amazing value and the fact live sport was on, was a bonus, the toilets were clean and the choice of drinks were varied and plentiful! Definitely recommend.”

“A welcoming and informal bar in a student area, open from breakfast ?til the early hours. A great place to relax, meet new friends and join in activities such as quizzing and retro-gaming. It is also an ideal place to watch the big games on TV whilst eating and drinking from street food influenced menus”
