  “First off, the staff are brilliant. You’re greeted with a warm smile the second you walk in, and even when the place is absolutely rammed on a matchday, the team behind the bar doesn't lose their cool. They’re fast, friendly, and actually take the time to have a quick laugh with you while they pour your drink. You never feel like just another order in a queue. Food-wise, you definitely won't leave hungry. The menu is loaded with classic pub comfort food done properly. The fish and chips come out with huge, crispy battered fish, the burgers are properly stacked, and the big-plate meals are serious value for money. It’s hot, fast, and exactly what you want when you fancy a solid pub meal. To top it off, the prices are surprisingly fair for what you get, especially compared to a lot of places these days. There’s a great selection on tap—from well-kept ales to crisp lagers—and plenty of options if you aren't drinking beer. If you're there for the sport, you’re in for a treat. They’ve got HD screens dotted all over the pub, so you get a great view of the match no matter where you end up sitting. The matchday atmosphere is electric, friendly, and just a proper good laugh. Whether you're stopping by for food with the family, catching the Premier League, or just having a couple of quiet mid-week drinks, The Hardy Pick is a gem. Highly recommended”

  “We was driving around looking for somewhere nice to eat came across this place.. we will definitely be coming again food was delicious price wasn’t bad either. Think the staff need to liven up abit though all looked miserable on bar an serving food other than that great place for a nice meal”

  “Me, the husband and our kid ventured to this establishment Sunday the 12th and I must say it was the finest greene king/hungry horse I have ever stepped foot in, not necessarily better in any material matter than their others but in soul, the service we received from the lad with the shoulder length hair (Alec? Alex?) He is the embodiment of customer service and professionalism (other staff were worse than him but not terrible i guess) You must wonder why only 4 stars if such high praises??? It's just that I could intuitively feel that it'd be even better (to a 5 star degree) if this lad was covered in slime, please do let me know if this is a possibility by at least the end of August. Thank you! And do reward this lad for this his excellent work (despite his lack of slime L.O.L)”

  “Shocking experience. The food was so poor and obviously the cheapest available ingredients they could buy. That was not the most shocking part, there was a member of staff, who was clearly the manager or supervisor as staff would go over and talk to him, sat there on his laptop Vaping away!!! Big clouds of smoke while we were eating and he was literally 2 metres away. I’d have complained but didn’t want a voucher to come back as I wouldn’t dream of eating their frozen cheap food that was stuck in a oven ever again, I also don’t want to be around vape smoke!!”

  “I don't recommend this place. It's dirty, the floor is sticky, and the restroom stinks. We ordered chicken, some of which were raw and not tasty. We brought this to the waiter's attention, but he didn't even say anything. For chocolate dessert, they asked if we wanted ice cream with it. I said yes, and it was eventually added to our bill without telling us anything. I don't recommend this place.”

  “I came hear for lunch with my bf this week. The food was phenomenal loved the subs. The waitress, Emily, was very helpful making us feel as comfortable as possible. Definitely reccomend would 100%come here again”

  “I love being able to share good experiences and this place hands down is amazing! I have come a couple of times now and I don't even live near here but it's one of my favourite Sheffield pubs!! They have a big drinks selection for everyone from allsorts of beer, lager and cider on tap and of course my favourite... LOTS of spirits 😍🥰 rum, brandy, whisky, gin, wine whatever you could possibly want!!! Even tea and coffee 😁 Going on to the food.... I have never eaten anything here, thats not nice and delicious! The chicken new yorker is lovely and all their burgers too. On my last trip, I tried their Sunday dinners.... they do not hold back on portions (see pictures). The food is reasonably priced and personally I think it's cheap for the amount you get. All food is fresh and comes out steaming hot 🤤🤤🤤 It's a good place for friends to catch up, to bring the family for a meal and leading onto my next part, very kid friendly!! They have a gated play area on the back garden part and lots of lovely seating to relax on sunny days (if we ever have any🙄). Some arcades machines for children inside and a very wide ranged menu for adults and children. I want to applaude the staff, they are all friendly, very helpful and go the extra mile! There was a mess up with our order but they gave us free desserts and was very apologetic about it so we was happy! I want to mention naomi, our server at the time who was really friendly and amazing at her job and handled things professionally and had great customer service (give her a raise) 😁 So if you are looking for a good day out, I would recommend this place and give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could!!! @mantiumofficial @tektonik0 @t.a.g.0114”
