Customer Review Summary
The main drawbacks are crowds and choice. The pub gets very busy, especially on Sundays, and since it does not take bookings, one reviewer says to simply turn up and hope the wait is short. Another was disappointed to find only one cask beer on, having read praise for the ale. Even so, one diner who arrived with a one year old felt welcomed, and the chips earned a mention in that review too.

“Went today for Sunday lunch, rustic country pub, I had the roast beef Sunday lunch. All home made, thick cuts of beef ,veg, lovely gravy. Plenty of toast potatoes. It was lovely can't move I'm so stuffed, generous portions Will definitely go again, if I don't get lost in the car 😂”

“Traditional pub serving a selection of traditional food. Great prices, decent food, good service and a friendly atmosphere. Can get very busy on Sundays but unfortunately they don't take bookings. Just turn up, enjoy a drink at the bar or outside in the spacious (partially covered) courtyard and hope you don't have to wait too long.”

“Four of us had a lovely meal on Saturday 30th May. Big portions! First visit but will definitely go back. Love independent pubs rather than chains & Colliers arms didn't disappoint.”

“Lovely welcoming traditional pub, lovely staff made me and my 1 year old feel very welcome today. Lovely chips and relaxing atmosphere. The only criticism was there was only one cask beer on which after reading the reviews about the great beer I found disappointing. Will 100% be going back though and hopefully more real ale options next time.”

“We recently had a fantastic meal at the Colliers Arms. The steak was cooked to perfection, the fish and chips were crispy and delicious, and the cock and bull was a hearty and satisfying meal. The food was all incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!”
