Customer Review Summary
Friendly, attentive staff are the most frequent draw: one server found a quiet outside spot and carried the drinks over, another cleaned up a sauce spill in a flash, and a team member suggested local places to eat when the kitchen had closed late on a Saturday. Close behind is the family appeal, with the indoor soft play keeping one reviewer's son happy over brunch and others calling the pub clean, large and welcoming. Chicken skewers are called tender, portions generous, and the Wednesday pub quiz fun. Food draws the complaints. One diner found the fried food dark, over-crispy and obviously reheated, and expensive for what arrived, while another found the mac and cheese pasta hard and undercooked. A third reports a long wait for food on a Friday evening despite spare tables, yet still found the staff very nice and helpful.

“We had a lovely evening, a lovely young man called Conor really looked after us, made us feel welcome. We spilt some sauce and he sorted it in a flash! The chicken skewers were out of this world, so tender, compliments to the chef too. Been here many times and always great service and food, highly recommend it.”

“We would just like to commend the lovely young man who served us on our recent visit!! Conor was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and he even helped to find us a nice quiet spot outside, bringing our drinks by way of assistance. He was so efficient and polite. Our food was good and we will definitely be returning.”

“Staff was very nice and helpful. Food very good. There was a 45min too 1 hour wait for food. This was on a Friday evening. There was quite a few spare tables, so didn't seem full. Nice & modern inside”

“First time finding this place and would definitely come back. Visited during half term break with my son and was very surprised how tucked away it was. Got indoors and felt like I was somewhere else. Love the interior and the cozy/warmth atmosphere. It also connected to nice indoor and outdoor play ( temp closed off due to repairs I assume ) area for kids. However indoor soft play had my son amazed! He made a new friend and we enjoyed a nice brunch and play. I would absolutely recommend . Welcoming and friendly staff, music not too loud but can still hear it to enjoy.”
