Customer Review Summary

Most reviewers describe a buffet that runs out and is not refilled. Trays sit empty or hold scraps, and diners at lunch and evening sittings report finding only rice and noodles, or being told the ribs, prawns, beef, spring rolls and fritters were sold out. When food does come out, it arrives in small portions, and several call it cold or barely warm, including pineapple fritters. Staff are repeatedly described as rude, with complaints about drinks handed over as a can with no glass and a server objecting to plates being changed between courses. A few also mention a cold dining room. The minority who enjoyed their meal praise the chicken wings, chicken curry, shredded beef and rice noodles, plus prawn toast and crispy chicken balls. One says small batches keep the food fresh and finds the staff friendly. They still want more desserts, such as banana fritters, and better spring rolls. One diner told the buffet was sold out was offered a free pot of jasmine tea.

“Lovely food! Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the chicken wings, chicken curry, shredded beef, and rice noodles. Honestly, the best Chinese food in town! 😍 My only little wish would be to have more dessert options, such as banana fritters. 🍌 Thank you so much for the wonderful food and great experience. I’ll definitely be back soon! ❤️”

“This has to be the worst restaurant I’ve ever visited! Food is barely warm. Wait ages for them to bring it out, then it’s only small portions. Quality of food is generally very poor and tasteless. The waitress / manager has to be the rudest waitress I’ve ever experienced! Waitress Very abrupt and got abusive about us changing plates after already using for starter course & duck course. Drinks you don’t get a glass, just a can, if you ask the waitress slams glasses down on table! This place needs shutting down! Avoid this restaurant!!”

“AVOID!!!!! By far, the worst dining experience I've ever had. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. No food available at all, would have felt fuller with beans on toast from the comfort of my sofa. The very little food available, was cold. The atmosphere was terrible, everyone looked displeased and complained. The only lady apparently working, walked around as if she's doing someone a favour, rude, obnoxious, unhygienic, sneezed all over her hands and my sister, when walking around all night with rubber cleaning gloves which clearly were used to serve, clean, pick up dishes, till tasks and more. After being given cola cans directly to our children with no glasses, we later proceeded to order a jug of water ( 7 younger ones and 2 teens), to which we receive 2, and i repeat.. 2!!!..Half full dirty glasses of tap water for them all to share!!!! ( All my family were treated with rudness. I personally booked a table for 12, to which, mid meal, she felt the need to try demand one of the tables back, even tho we already could all barely fit in the space given. Absolutely disgusting place, shouldn't be allowed to run, and baring in mind I always support local businesses. Shame on you! Ruined our family meal and both my daughters birthday. Save yourselves the stress, this is unlikely to ever change, now that I cared to read everyone else's reviews, i can firmly say, Never again.”

“We arrived at 7.30 in the evening Several items on the buffet were empty Normally they are replenished When we asked about ribs, prawns, beef we were told they were sold out! There was 1 spring roll each and 1 sesame toast each also sold out! There were no apple or banana fritters left also sold out It is now 8pm Anyone else coming in is not going to get much at the buffet What we did have was the leftovers that were sitting under the heated lamp and apart from mushrooms and curry very small portions left We have been offered a pot of jasmine tea for free as compensation We will not come hear again and I suggest before you sit down you check if the buffet will be replenished or if it is "sold out"”
