  “Picked up some salt & pepper chicken , just frozen crap deep fried really foul , the chow mein was ok , the special curry was dreadful and when I mean poor this took the trophy . Disgusting is was had 1 spoon full and had to be thrown away , look at reviews before your order people , that was my mistake that I didn’t .”

  “I have been coming to Lots of Rice for many years now and I always make sure to stop by whenever I come to Borehamwood. Easily one of the best chinese takeaways i’ve tried. The man in the front who takes your order is exceptionally nice and the food overall is excellent. Will definitely continue to revisit.”

  “Omg awful. Cripsy Chilli beef no taste or sauce and looked weeks old. Sweet and sour chicken no sauce tasteless Special fried rice there certainly wasn’t anything special about it boiled rice with a couple of prawns and few bits of pork. No prawn crackers what Chinese doesn’t give prawn cracks lots of rice. New lantern house please don’t go on holiday again. Soooo sad what a waste of £30 odd quid”

  “I ordered sweet and sour prawn balls which I always order from the other Chinese takeaways in the area. This is by far the worse ones I have ever tasted. They taste like chemicals and made me feel sick. Won't be ordering from here again. There are better chinese places in the area than this.”

  “I ordered chicken chop suey & bbq spare ribs. All of it especially the sauces were completely tasteless :-( They will only accept cash or bank transfer:-( The only positive is the man was very nice.”

  “Absolutely disgusting.... food arrived cold for a start, the spring rolls we're meant to be vegetable ones and they were just pastry "looked like the ones you buy from Iceland but worse" Icelands are better.... The crispy seaweed was vile and in our opinion stale. The special fried rice was the smallest portion I've ever seen and not that "special". Spent over £50 to be honest I would have had more satisfaction watching the money burn 🤬”

  “The meat pancake rolls were not just pork and prawns as described but full of beanspouts which I cannot eat and dripping in oil absolutely disgusting”

  “This Chinese food was delicious. The best we have had so far in Borehamwood. Everything was fresh, had flavored. The prices are very reasonable as well. They never dissapoint us, the food is always good, no matter what we try, and the service is always good as well.Highly recommend!!!”
