  “I tried HK house for the first time today. I must say I was impressed by the quality of the food. I ordered a special fried rice, Singapore noodles and crispy chillie beef. All dishes were cooked to a high standard and every tasty. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. The staff seemed friendly and polite also. Generously sized portions and also adequately priced.”

  “Really great Chinese food, fast, fresh, not greasy. Good sized portions and plenty of veg. Food is always ready in under 10 minutes and not soaked in oil like some places. Friendly staff too.”

  “Ordered a takeaway through Uber eat. Delivered in 40 min but had some wrong items. Can't reorder and it would have been another 45 min wait, was refunded so ended up eating loads of rice as extra came without the mains. All were only just warm. Chilli and peppercorn salt ribs were cold and more onions than rib. Just 8 , 20-25 mm long pieces, probably 2 ribs for £9.70. Crispy shredded beef wasn't, it was soggy and no real flavour. Whole order was very underwhelming.We used to use HK many years ago but won't ever order here again.”

  “My favourite Asian food place in the area, I haven't had anything I didn't really enjoy and thier spice bag is so incredible it's worth getting by it's self. Everything is perfectly seasoned even the rice which can often be bland in other restaurants. Really good selection of food, veggie and meat. Abdolutley recommend.”

  “Been coming here for decades. They make the best pancake rolls I've found in the area, by far (I love them). The food is what you expect from a Chinese takeaway (i.e. they don't do sit down meals), the prices are reasonable given eating out or takeaways have become very expensive since covid. Other notable mentions for me are Double Cooked Pork, Ho Fun with Black Bean Sauce (no meat, off menu, have to ask for it).”

  “Normally I don’t write the reviews, but the HK house food was outstanding, received lot of common from my friends. Fresh, tasty and generous portions, I can’t expect more than them. My kids like fry chicken that was so crispy. And thank you for prawn crackers for free.”
