Customer Review Summary
Ramen is what reviewers return to most, with the shoyu ramen called yum and a rice noodle vegetable ramen with tofu singled out as a standout, while the fried vegetable gyozas also draw praise. Close behind are the gluten-free and vegan options, which brought in a couple of diners, and the rib eye steak and salmon nigiri, which one table particularly enjoyed. A Japanese reviewer describes the menu as authentic, and several call the service friendly and efficient and the cost reasonable. The small space gets a nice ambience from some, though one notes staff struggling to keep up when busy and another says it can be hard to get their attention. Criticism is sharper elsewhere: one reviewer found the ramen low on flavour and pricey, another said the fish in a sushi bowl was not fresh and the rice had the wrong taste and texture, and a third found the chicken teriyaki rice sticky. The lunch deal of teriyaki don, gyoza and a soda, plus chicken chanchan yaki with rice, miso and salad, is held up as a favourite.

“There were loads of Tasty vegan and gluten-free options. The rice noodles vegetable ramen with tofu was the standout for us, but I also really enjoyed the fried vegetable gyozas. The service is fast and the staff polite and efficient too. The only thing I would say is that it can be hard to get their attention but if you call out politely, they will attend and provide a good service mentioned earlier”

“Not sure where all the good reviews are from, the Sushi bowl I had was the most disappointing in a Japanese restaurant! Fish was not fresh and rice was not right taste, not even the right texture!”
