Customer Review Summary

The milk cake draws the most mentions, especially the vanilla pistachio and rose version. One diner calls it soft and fragrant, with the pistachio and rose balanced and not too sweet, and pairs it with a latte. Another found the same cake foamy and different in taste, and was told staff had sold many cakes that day. Close behind, diners praise a saffron milk cake, a Dubai chocolate pancake with ice cream, and a low gluten waffle, describing the desserts as rich, the portions as generous and the room as well decorated. Several single out friendly servers. Service is the recurring complaint in the low ratings. One party pressed the tablet's call button about ten times and waited around 40 minutes for tap water. They were then charged twice on a split bill and met with disbelief before a refund was offered. A late-night visitor was told it was takeaway only, watched cutlery get thrown on the floor, and found the pistachio dark chocolate cookie dough far smaller than usual.

“Great food and drink, service also very good, although we were the only people in there, not sure what its like when its busy. All in all a very good experience but a bit on the pricey side.”

“The place is beautiful and clean, the food is clean and delicious, and it's quiet. Today, a girl named Kavi was there; she was very kind and treated us very well. It was the best experience of the place.”

“Heavenly Desserts was a great spot for dessert after a meal. The restaurant itself is really well decorated and has a much nicer atmosphere than you’d expect from a dessert place. I ordered a waffle and was pleasantly surprised to see they offered low gluten waffles as an option. The desserts were very rich, the portions were generous, and it felt like you got what you paid for. The create-your-own option is also a great touch if you want something more personalised. Service was quick and efficient throughout, with ordering done remotely via tablet/app which made everything really straightforward.”

“I’m really disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered a vanilla pistachio rose milk cake, but the quality was very poor. The texture was more like foam than a proper milk cake, and the taste was completely different from what it should be. We’ve visited around 10 times before, so this experience was very unexpected. The female staff were polite and handled things well, but the male staff were not helpful. When we raised the issue, their response was dismissive—they simply said they had sold many cakes that day, which didn’t address the problem at all. It felt like they didn’t care about customer feedback. Overall, disappointing experience due to both the product quality and the way the issue was handled. I hope management takes this seriously and improves.”

“Visited Heavenly Desserts Nottingham and loved it. The desserts were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We tried saffron milk cake, strawberry-based dessert with ice cream and a Dubai chocolate-loaded pancake topped with ice cream — both were rich, indulgent, and perfectly balanced. Great ambience and a lovely place to enjoy desserts. Would definitely visit again. 🍨🍫🍓”
