  “Absolutely THE best Indian meal I’ve had! Super accommodating & friendly staff (we arrived at 21:58 & stimm got welcomed & served without any fuss!), a menu that left me feeling overwhelmed in the best possible way & delicious, generous food. Superb. Highly recommend a visit. I for sure will be back.”

  “We had a fantastic experience at Cumin. The service was friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions. We tried a selection of vegetarian appetisers, and every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. My personal favourite was the Bombay cheese, which was rich, perfectly spiced, and incredibly moreish. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and you can tell real care goes into the cooking. I would highly recommend Cumin to anyone looking for high-quality Indian cuisine in Nottingham.”

  “Stopped off by chance on Way to London, as we fancied an Indian meal. A small family run restaurant- staff were very polite and helpful. Service was excellent. The food was all very good, full of flavours, and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. None of it was overly chilli and spices and flavours very well balanced. It was well presented and generous portions. Will be back again!”

  “Booked this for a nice meal with my boyfriend, it was last minute, and we managed to book for 8:00pm. We sat upstairs, with a nice table at the window. The staff were very nice throughout our meal, I had deep fried okra as a side to share, chicken tikka masala and my boyfriend had vegetable jalfrezi (really nice heat, not too hot), we also shared some poppadoms, a grilled bread and a lime rice. All of the food was absolutely lovely, the chicken was quite sweet. We washed it down with some Kingfisher beers (one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic). Table water to share. I look forward to coming back.”

  “celebrating a friend’s birthday. We shared a great selection of dishes and everything was excellent. The vegetable dhansak was full of flavour, the butter chicken was rich and perfectly balanced, and the seek kebab starters were juicy and well spiced. The rest of the table tried a mix of starters and curries (see photos), all of which were spot on. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, service was friendly and attentive, and the venue was clean and well looked after — even the bathrooms were spotless. A really enjoyable evening all round and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!”

  “Delicious meal at The Cumin! We hadn’t visited before but had always wanted to go, and even better that the “It’s in Nottingham” restaurant week deal was on, so a bargain price despite the few extras that we had too. They catered really well for our vegan friends and we shared a mixture of dishes. The lamb rogan Josh was probably the best I’ve ever had! Starters were delicious and all served very attractively as well. Great friendly service as well. Would definitely recommend, can’t wait to go again!”

  “The food was absolutely delicious! Their nan had not only butter but also some coconut flakes and tasted amazing! Both curries (prawn and lamb) tasted so good. The lime rice was a bit too sour for me. They also had a good dessert menu with homemade ice creams. It took a while for the food to serve and I think it's worth it. Not cheap but definitely not expensive for the quality. Highly recommended.”
