Customer Review Summary
Chilli garlic chicken is the dish diners name most. One reviewer ordered it with the lamb handi after the owner suggested both, and another had it for mains. Close behind are the chicken tikka, the saag paneer, and the fish tikka bhuna, which one regular calls excellent as usual. A vegan diner praised the fluffy, crunchy vegetable pakoras, the tadka daal, and the channa, each with its own distinct flavour. Several describe friendly, courteous staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and generous portions, and one household has been visiting for over fifteen years. The one real complaint concerns takeaway. A reviewer who called the food wonderful found phone orders a challenge, saying the address had to be repeated several times. The restaurant phoned to ask whether they were coming to collect when the delivery was already late, and it still had not arrived. On a dine-in visit, one diner was given a complimentary vegetable samosa.

“The food is wonderful! The restaurant is in a quiet location, out of the way and has a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The staff are courteous; all in all a nice experience. Unfortunately, phone orders appear to present a challenge, either due to the language barrier, the inability of the operator to accurately record or relay information or a combination of the above. The takeaway service is, sadly, a mess. You might think clear instruction in written format using the restaurant's own online format would be sufficient, however, a phone call 20 minutes after the expected delivery time to ask if you are coming to collect, followed by an awkward conversation in which you repeatedly state your address, whereabouts it is and how far away it is, would suggest otherwise. P.s. 50 minutes late and still counting. I'm 5 minutes from driving down there and giving them the what for!”

“"A food handler directly handled raw meat with gloved hands, afterwards he rinsed residue off his gloves and continued to work without changing his gloves and washing his hands. Food handlers were not seen to wash their hands at all during the inspection." The report says that there was not even any soap at the only hand-wash sink in the kitchen that had running warm water – with another in the kitchen, and one in the toilet, not having any warm water at all. But its rating of zero will stand at least until its next inspection date . Raw meat juices splashed onto the wall surfaces around the sink, the report says, with no attempt afterwards made to clean or disinfect the areas until the inspector told the handler to. Other problems included cloths being dirty, staff not wearing any protective clothing such as aprons and the same type of containers being used to store raw meat and ready to eat or cooked food. The inspector also suspected that rodents had been in the building, with damage to the door appearing to resemble gnaw marks. Yaada yaada...”

“We got home from work exhausted and had absolutely no energy to cook, so I said to my husband, “Let’s go to Indian Nights. I want to try the food for ourselves.” And I’m so glad we did. I asked the owner what he recommended, and he suggested the Lamb Handi and Chilli Garlic Chicken. We said, “Right, we’re having those then!” And honestly… 10/10. The food was absolutely delicious. I’ve lived in Dubai for 13 yrs and have Indian chef friends, so I know good Indian food, and this genuinely impressed us. The service was lovely, the restaurant had people dining in, and we had a really enjoyable evening. Support local. Yes we saw the negative post but give businesses the opportunity to learn, improve and show you what they can do. For us, Indian Nights absolutely delivered. The food? 10/10. We’ll definitely be back.”
