  “I enjoyed Lagan Indian Tapas so much that I ended up going 4 nights in a row. The food was consistently amazing and everything tasted really fresh and high quality. Sudip was my server most nights and he was always super friendly and accommodating. All of the staff were welcoming and made the place feel comfortable and relaxed. I also loved the tapas concept because it lets you try a lot of different things, and the atmosphere inside is really nice. They even have a discount if you eat before 7pm which is a great bonus. Would definitely recommend!”

  “The food was of good quality, and the staff exhibited courteous behavior. It was raining heavily outside when we were prepared to depart. The staff kindly lent us an umbrella, enabling us to retrieve our vehicle and drive our parents while they waited comfortably inside the restaurant.”

  “Located just off the tram line in Beeston centre, Lagan offers South Asian cuisine. The nearest car park is Foster Avenue car park. We had booked our table in advance and we did not have to wait to be seated. The staff are friendly but it took a while for the food to arrive. We tried the veg and non veg thali, which were good. The starters were better than the mains. Overall, it was a good dining experience.”

  “Lovely restaurant, nice and clean and tidy, nicely laid out and decorated. Very friendly people, great service (your not rushed but they certainly don't take too long either) and very well presented and absolutely delicious food. I can't fault it and would definitely look to return.”

  “Loved our meal and experience! The food was great, really tasty This was our first visit so we had the selection of 4 curries with rice and naan. There was also a piece of popadom and spicy chutney, and a little sweet on the plate. So good to taste a range of dishes and with perfect portion sizes. Great atmosphere inside, it was busy on a Thursday night, some large groups as well as small. We came to celebrate a birthday, I mentioned it subtly on the online booking and the team at Lagan pulled out all the stops! Unfortunately my partner didn’t want a dessert so I thought my surprise was not possible… Still the team brought out a cupcake, candle, and with happy birthday written on the plate! The team all had an instrument and we sang happy birthday together 🥳 Thank you so much again for going the extra mile, you made it a special evening we really appreciate the effort and personal touch🙏😄 Will be back again soon!”

  “Here's the short version: great food and great service. Our waiter was really helpful. Given the tapas nature of the restaurant we were unsure about how much to order without overdoing it, and with his help we got it just right. We branched out a bit and tried things we hadn't had before, and it was all fantastic. The tacos and the paneer tapas dishes were a highlight. I also loved the Thali, I had a few favourites (the lamb dish and the lentils one), but everything was great. We also treated ourselves to a cocktail which was delicious, and very reasonably priced as part of their pre-7pm "2 for £12" deal. Honestly I'm ashamed it took us so long to try this place. We certainly won't leave it that long til next time, we're coming back soon!”

  “First of all, the presentation here was excellent. Lovely, relaxed environment with helpful, friendly staff, but not intrusive. Attentive but out of the way. The presentation of the food throughout was really good. The food was tasty, with fresh ingredients, and prepared promptly. Don't misunderstand me - the food was good, balanced, and portions were just right. Personally, I felt that the strength of the spices was not commensurate with an authentic Indian meal. I feel that the recipes have been toned down for a White British clientele. This is a pity, because everything else was really enjoyable and pleasant.”
