Customer Review Summary
Samosa chaat is the most frequent draw, with diners calling the food "to die for" and delicious, and the veg samosa singled out as the highlight of one meal for being crispy and full of flavour. Close behind are the breakfast dishes: reviewers mention an aloo paratha large enough to take half home, a full breakfast and shakshooka, plus chole bhatura with gunpowder fries. One reviewer calls the curry butter dressing on a build your own bowl phenomenal, and the High Chai and upstairs afternoon tea draw praise for birthday and group visits. Staff come across as friendly, helpful and well informed, with fast service at the till. The recurring caveat is about execution. One reviewer found the Chilli Cheese Omelette Paratha closer to a plain bread omelette and wanted more spice in the parathas, and another noted some dishes were pre cooked and then warmed or steamed, which sometimes affected the texture. Several mention the window view and decor, and one describes a hen do celebration where a server matched the mood of the group.

“Went in for a quick lunch between trains as it’s close to the station and well reviewed. The lady at the till was very helpful when I asked what light meals they offered for lunch and the service was fast. Food was delicious - I’d definitely come here again. I had samosa chaat :)”

“We tried the Veg Samosa, Chilli Cheese Omelette Paratha, and Aloo Paratha. The Veg Samosa was the highlight of our meal—crispy, delicious, and full of flavour. I would definitely recommend trying it. The parathas were decent, but they could have been better with a little more spice. The Chilli Cheese Omelette Paratha tasted more like a regular bread omelette and wasn't as spicy as we expected. The café has a nice ambience and is located right in the city centre, making it a great place to hang out. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, it's a good place to visit. I'd recommend it, especially for the samosas and the pleasant atmosphere.”

“Have been twice now, once for afternoon tea upstairs (incredible, 100% recommend) and again for a build your own bowl and it was phenomenal. I haven’t stopped thinking about the curry butter dressing.”
