Quick info
About Beauvale Priory
Beauvale Priory is a cafe in Nottingham at Beauvale Abbey Farm, with tea rooms set in the old stone buildings of the priory. Ruins and grounds are there to stroll around, and peacocks and farm animals share the grounds. Food is made on the premises and cooked fresh to order, with a Full English Breakfast served with artisan sourdough toast and gluten free pizza on the menu. Waitress service brings it to the table. A log burning stove sits in the cafe, and dogs are allowed inside on a lead because of the farm animals. The business also runs holiday cottages and a wedding venue alongside the tea rooms. Reservations are made on the website.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the freshly made food, cooked on site and to order, with the Full English Breakfast on sourdough toast called delicious and faultless. Close behind are the wedding menus, where lasagne, pizza, chip cobs and homemade artisan doughnuts were all made on the premises, and a gluten free pizza that catered for a guest with coeliac disease and was called the best pizza one reviewer had tried. Several mention a good menu with a great choice of teas and coffees at reasonable prices. The old stone walls keep the tearoom cool in hot weather, and one reviewer describes a cosy cafe with a log burning stove. Dogs are welcome inside on a lead because of the farm animals, with plenty of outdoor seating and waitress service. One regular recommends booking, and another always books through the website. Several pair the visit with a walk around the priory ruins, admiring the peacocks before settling in for tea.

“Beautiful old stone buildings, once a priory. Wonderfully cool in the heatwave! Not sure why the photo on here isn't showing the picturesque nature of this place?”

“I go here quite often but today I thought I had an issue with a foreign body in my food. I was *totally* wrong and it was explained to me. Why am I posting this? Because the staff handled it politely and with respect even thought it was me who was in the wrong. I strongly recommend them for quality and service. Sorry for my mistake.”

“The tearooms at Beauvale Priory are second to none. A hidden gem that takes you into the beautiful countryside only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of local towns and villages The food is all made on the premises and is fresh and delicious at a reasonable price In this hot weather the tearoom is cool and comfortable with its old stone walls. We have always booked on their website so that we won’t be disappointed.”
