Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the main draw at Swift's Café, with reviewers describing a late full English and other plates as perfectly cooked, homemade in taste, and generously portioned for a fair price. Close behind is the staff, called friendly, welcoming and lovely, with fast service and no long wait for a flat white. Homemade cakes, including one taken away, are called excellent and tasty, and regulars point to the plentiful vegan and veggie options for the weekend breakfasts and lunches they return for. The one dissenting account comes from a reviewer who found a halloumi and tomato panini dry and tasteless, with no dips or condiments, and who called the menu in need of elevation and the atmosphere a bit flat. That same reviewer also objected to the chef working without a hat. Others, by contrast, describe a friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and one regular who is moving away says the cafe will be missed.
