About T8s Wine Bar&cafe

T8s Wine Bar&cafe is a cafe, breakfast restaurant and wine bar on Central Walk in Nottingham. The all-day breakfast is served in a large portion, coming with tea or coffee and two rounds of toast. Beyond breakfast, the menu runs to burgers and a ploughmans lunch, with cappuccino, hot chocolate and iced caramel coffee alongside Guinness and Strongbow Dark on tap. The venue takes walk-ins rather than bookings and opens daily. A step-free, wheelchair-accessible entrance suits visitors with mobility needs, and high chairs are available for families with young children. Outdoor seating is set up for those who prefer to eat outside. The wine bar side of the business runs alongside the cafe and breakfast offering, giving the space a dual role through the day. Parking is available next to Wilko's, close to Hucknall town centre.

Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is what most reviewers return for, from the all day options to a large breakfast with tea or coffee and two toast, described as cooked perfectly. Drinks come close behind: one reviewer calls the cappuccino the best they have had in a cafe, and others single out the hot chocolate, an iced caramel coffee and a Strongbow Dark. A ploughmans lunch and burgers also earn mentions, along with friendly staff in the bar and kitchen. The complaints concern conduct and atmosphere. One reviewer says a woman shouted racist abuse at the TV during a match, that a staff member did nothing when asked to move her, and that they left their drinks unfinished. Another describes stares from potentially threatening groups on a Friday evening, and a breakfast visitor notes two loud drinkers with expletive filled conversation. One reviewer reports stomach pain and vomiting after a Guinness that looked discoloured. Even so, a Boxing Day return visit brought another lovely cooked breakfast.

“Hidden Gem!!! The cappuccino here is the best I've ever had in a cafe. Its incredible quality, so is the hot chocolate according to my mum.”

“We had a lovely breakfast for three of us. The lady and gentleman looking after us were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. We will be visiting again for sure! Update Boxing Day 2025 Hucknall was deserted but this place was open! Had another lovely breakfast only downside was when two loud drinkers with potty mouths had the impression that everyone wanted to hear their expletive filled conversation. Nothing worse than loud drinkers who get louder with every sip of drink😔”

“I had a Guinness from here today, after one sip I noticed the Guinness was running through the cream head a brown colour ( should of stopped there) I continued to finish the pint, 30 min after I was in so much pain with my stomach and throwing up all afternoon, seems like dirty lines or gone off Guinness! Not happy at all”
