  “We stayed in Innside by Melìa hotel and this restaurant is attached to it. We ordered olives on our arrival and few drinks. The olives is so delicious and unlike other places that you can tatste it's from a jar, this one is just juicy so we ordered another one. Unfortunately we missed out on our breakfast however we made sure we have lunch here prior leaving. I ordered the seafood pasta and my partner is arancini balls. We also had coffee whilst waiting for our lunch to arrive. The food is very delicious, especially my seafood. Everything is cooked perfectly and served on time. We did not get any dessert as we're pretty much full on what we've ordered. This restaurant also provided seats outside looking on the water and is very relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you wnated a good italian food.”

  “When to Gino's for the very first time, and the food was amazing the places really good and we went for the paint and sip evening. Highly recommend it. Melly who waited on us was brilliant, she was polite, friendly and funny. She was one of the great staff who just want to make you have a great evening. Thank you Melly and the paint and sip hosts who were also brilliant.”

  “Visited for NE1 Restaurant Week and had such a lovely experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic from start to finish. Everything came out really quickly despite it being Restaurant Week, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Unfortunately I didn’t catch our server’s name, but she was absolutely lovely and really added to the experience. Really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning!”

  “Our first time visiting a Gino’s restaurant and we were not disappointed. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed and enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was light , relaxed and nothing was rushed. The food was delicious and being gluten intolerant the choice was just as extensive as the main menu. Every course was full of flavour and perfectly put together. Our service from Gabi and Sarah was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble they were knowledgeable, extremely polite, respectful and made our experience fantastic. Thank you Gino’s Newcastle and especially Gabi and Sarah. We will definitely return if we are back in Newcastle.”

  “Came here for my birthday! Got treated so kindly by all the staff! Lucy was extremely kind and social! Thank you to the chefs for the delicious food! (Only waited 4 minutes!) You get more for what you paid for. cocktails were phenomenal! We will definitely be back!”

  “We had a fantastic experience at the new Gino D'Acampo restaurant in Newcastle. The atmosphere in the Quayside area is lovely, making it the perfect backdrop for a great meal. The food was absolutely exceptional. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish, both of which were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. To top it off, the dessert was pure perfection. Everything arrived remarkably quickly, without compromising on quality. A special mention goes to our server, Lucy, who took wonderful care of us throughout the meal. Exceptional food, brilliant service, and a great vibe. I will definitely recommend.”

  “Ordered from the fantastico menu. 2 courses for £21. Prawn starter was amazing. Got the truffle fries to go with my main and an extra £6 for dessert. Fairly quiet but it was Good Friday. Highly recommend.”

  “Me and my girlfriend visited the restaurant on Saturday night and we loved every second of it. We booked prior to visiting so were promptly shown our table and seated on the lower level dining area, after an intensive review of the drinks menu we landed on the the Pineapple Express and the mango & passion fruit spritz. The cocktails were flavourfully amazing and a great compliment to our meal. We decided to share the Arancine al ragù for starters, and to describe this starter as gorgeous would be a serious understatement. Every bite was better than the last, the roasted red pepper and tomato sauce was mind blowing. For the main I originally ordered spaghetti all’aragosta but the lobster was currently unavailable. My second choice that I went with was the scaloppine di pollo, the chicken was wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The garlic green beans and peas were a great addition to the dish and was drenched in a lemon and caper butter sauce which gave it a zesty vinegar flavour. My girlfriend went for the lasagne, we tried each others meals and I was kicking myself I didn’t get the lasagne, perfectly layered and surrounded by an amazing tomato sauce with a healthy amount of basil pesto. We also both shared some roasted potatoes which were absolutely faultless, season with herbs and garlic and made another perfect addiction. At this point we were both too full for a dessert but looking back we definitely should have at least shared one as the table next to us made us a little jealous. To talk about the actual restaurant and facilities, the table we were seated at was situated in the middle of the restaurant but didn’t feel like we were cramped or constantly passed by other patrons. The toilets were extremely well maintained and very clean. The whole experience came to £90 for two cocktails, a starter and two mains which we thought was very reasonably priced for food and drinks we’d eat for the rest of our lives. Overall we couldn’t fault this experience if we tried and we will definitely be back around Christmas time to clear out the lunch menu and our server Stefano was very helpful and extremely friendly.”

  “Gino’s is one of my favourite restaurants in Newcastle, in the perfect spot that captures a glimpse of the city perfectly. My best friend was visiting me from America, and I wanted to take her somewhere special so we dined here and it was great. We got the mussels to start, and for the mains we had seafood risotto and ribeye steak - with peppercorn sauce and also the chimichurri. The mussels come drenched in a creamy, garlic sauce served with toasted ciabatta which was divine. I asked for my risotto to be spicy, this was also perfect with plenty fresh red chillies which I loved as they were cooked with the rest of the ingredients. I find when I ask places to add chilli to my food, they just sprinkle chilli flakes on the top, so it was nice to be served something that was exactly to my taste palette. The steak and the truffle fries were also cooked to perfection, we ate everything! We made room for dessert of course and 2 spicy margaritas, we had the Ferrero rocher chocolate cheesecake, it had a layer of dark chocolate ganache, which we both loved. My friend was so impressed and so was I by the warm welcome, hospitality, service and the exceptional food. I also want to add - the manager Jacko was simply amazing. I have a 7 month old baby and any time he saw her drop her dummy on the floor, he would get my boiling water without being asked and sterilise her dummies and he kept checking if she was happy and comfortable and if I was, and if we needed anything more. As well as doing the service, catering to everyone’s needs, he showed me compassion and kindness and just made our experience unforgettable. Please give him a huge thank you from the 3 of us. 10/10 evening and I cannot wait to come back ❤️”
