  “We went about 2.30 today and I had a delicious tuna panini , while my husband chose the ham one, and they were both huge and delicious! They were very well filled with tomato and greens, and served with chips ( not so good, as quite greasy) and were the best paninis we've both eaten. We haven't been for a year or two owing to health issues but so glad we went back. The girl server was very friendly and polite and a real asset to a busy place! Well done Liosis!”

  “Dolce vita on the Tyne — garlicky gamberoni that feel like a small Sicilian holiday without leaving Newcastle. Sunshine optional (of course). The food and atmosphere are spot on, and the people make it — genuinely warm, both staff and fellow diners. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow easily and characters gather naturally. 🤗 No regrets, just a very good time all round.”

  “Brought my wife for her birthday which was our first visit. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Davi looked after us very well and we’ll certainly be back! Highly recommend!”

  “A little out of town and a little hidden in a business park, but also a little gem. Stopped here for breakfast and wow ... Fantastic service, very good quality food and pretty good value. Nice atmosphere and the friendly staff couldn't be more helpful. Absolutely recommended.”

  “We have been quite a few times for breakfast and lunch and the food is always amazing and service so good. Everyone is so friendly and lovely atmosphere. Just had Sunday dinner for the first time and was delicious.”

  “First time I have been here for a breakfast and at 44 years old this is the best I have had. It’s not cheapest but worth every penny. I got the breakfast that was priced at £12 and this came with a warm bread roll butter 2 bacon 2 sausages 2 poached eggs fried tomato mushrooms beans and 2 hash browns. My daughter got the eggs Benedict with with bacon and at £11 again worth every penny will definitely come back again highly recommend”

  “The food was absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. The staff even made a makeshift blind to help a customer as the sun was directly in their eyes.... nothing seems to be too much to ask Highly recommend 👌 We will be back”

  “Liosie’s Café is an absolute gem! The traditional Sicilian food is always fantastic, full of flavour, freshly made, and completely authentic. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a cosy meal. We come here three times a week, and every visit reminds us why we love it so much. Liosie’s Café is truly a home-from-home, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommended. 🍋🇮🇹”

  “We stopped for coffee and then lunch on our way to hike Hadrian’s Wall. It was the perfect spot to grab an authentic cannoli and cappuccino. The staff was excellent and very friendly. Our lunch was a large salad and pizza. Delicious!”
