“Cool rock bar with a good atmosphere. Came here after Oktoberfest and had a great time!”

“We usually really enjoy coming here however yesterday night we had a horrible experience which has put us off ever coming back again! My friend and I entered the pub, went straight to the loo, and then up to the bar to buy our first drink mind you, where entirely out of the blue she was grabbed by the “head doorman” and aggressively dragged out of the pub for absolutely no reason. She felt as though she was being kidnapped because she had no idea why this was happening or who was dragging her. The same guy had let us into the pub literally 5 minutes prior to this!!! Outside, we approached him, as she was hysterical and terrified, and asked why he felt the need to do that, and he stated that her warned her 4 times to get out of the pub which was entirely false. We had been there for no longer than 10 minutes, and nobody had told us that we couldnt be there or needed to get out. It makes me believe that he mistook her for someone else. Mistakes do happen however the lack of accountability from the doorman is the real issue here. He got very defensive, declaring that “legally” he is allowed to do that, and that he is the “head doorman”. Power kicks are really unattractive. I would seriously reevaluate your staff and the way they treat their customers as this is simply unacceptable! Legally acceptable or not, in what world do you tackle a 5’2 girl out of a pub without even attempting to speak to her beforehand, or giving her any warning. You have lost several regular customers because of this, and I will never ever recommend the pub to anybody ever again.”

“A busy pub not far from the train station. It has some interesting murals painted on the external walls. It was a Friday evening that we called in on and although early it was busy. Live music is on some days, so worth checking who's playing.”

“Children's plastic cups, what a joke, loads of kids, girl behind bar didn't like taking cash, I got raised eyebrows for daring to give her a £20 note! Music was good, doorman was friendly, I just wish he had mentioned it's a student kids venue before us 2 oldies walked in! Didn't stay long enough to take photos, also being lods of kids it wouldn't have been a good idea, wonder where they got all those fake id's from!”
