  “Always have brilliant time at this pub! The staff are absolutely brilliant and super friendly, they really make you feel welcome. Aaron, who does the bingo, is brilliant too and makes it such a good laugh. The food is great as well, with a really nice atmosphere and excellent service. Definitely recommend!”

  “The welcome you get by the landlord and staff is wonderful. Makes you want to stay longer or come back soon. Food was lovely. Plenty of space and facilaties for all, even my veary large well behaved dog. Looking forward to a return visit. Thank you for your hospitality. X”

  “Visited here july 2026. We had a large group and were celebrating a birthday. The service was amazing, food was great with plenty to choose from. Staff couldn't of been more helpful and were very attentive to the kids in the group. Great place, will definitely be going back.”

  “It's a really clean, comfortable feel walking into the pub. It has separate dining also served with a bar. The staff are ultra polite and and the manager was born for the part. Unfortunately, cut backs/ cost of living show in the food. It is what it is, bulk bought pub grub. It's okay for the price though the steak and ale pie was mid labeled in the menu. As I've experienced in it's sister pub, the pie crust is beautiful but the contents.... Where there should have been juicy chunks of prime beef steak in a rich gravy ale sauce, there laid a rather poor gelatinous blob of brown gloup. No "chunks" of anything at all. Just a well flavoured slightly lumpy and rather unpleasant pile (spoon full) of beef gravy. To be honest the flavour wasn't bad it was just lacking the party piece STEAK! I would remove it from the menu as this doesn't bode well for the rest of what's on offer! A very very cheap, shop bought pie, peddled at a much higher end price. I would have expected much much more for the £15 spent on 1 potatoe worth of fries, a well measured spoon of very dry (overcooked) peas. The chef can only supply the meals that they are given, however, it's not hard to serve peas! Very polite staff, fantastic manager, clean venue with nice atmosphere, but let down by "corner cafe" budget meal.”

  “We visited on the 17th May 26. We arrived and the staff member (Matthew) was very welcoming and explained everything to us and found us a lovely table. We ordered food which was very easy to do, there was a promotion on as well which we didn’t know about when we went but were very happy with when we were told. The food was bought to us in really good time and the server was very attentive and made sure everything was ok. The food was really tasty we had the chicken burger and the steak and ale pie and we were very happy with our choices. We will definitely be visiting again.”

  “First time visiting this place and it didn’t disappoint. The location is great, with lovely decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I ordered the soup of the day and a cheese garlic pizza—both were delicious. Nathan, one of the crew members, was especially accommodating and friendly, which made the experience even better. I stayed a while for a few drinks, and the day team made me feel completely at ease. Thank you—definitely a great spot to relax.”

  “Came Wednesday lunchtime. Clean and comfortable atmosphere, music at a good level and easy to talk. We ordered the food and drinks online with the QR code which was easy, I did hear when people ordered at the till being asked of there were any allergies. I had pulled pork loaded fries and my hubby had scampi both were lovely and all eaten. Service was great all staff we interacted with were polite and friendly. Lots of choice on the menu and we will be back.”

  “Wonderful service today! Fantastic gluten free menu and the servers were so lovely and attentive. They all seemed so considerate, including the bar manager and our server Aaron who even brought me fresh cutlery to make sure if was 100% as free from cross gluten as possible. Above and beyond celebrity service. Rarely get service that nowadays. The decor is fresh and comfortable and there are two dining locations, as well as dog friendly! There's plenty of entertainment including a pool table and darts board! Parking is dead close but it is a bit congested due to the area, despite this there's a sun trap for outside seating and looks great for families with grass for play and toy's & colouring. It was very busy when we went but the service was still fast and polite and it's a good sign the food is great! Will definitely be going back to explore the rest of the menu.”
