About The Farmacy Real Ale Bar
The Farmacy Real Ale Bar is a micro pub at 76 Smedley St in Matlock, found up a steep hill that visitors reach on foot. The bar brews its own beer, including Raven Stout, so some of what a drinker can order is made by the pub itself. Real ale is served on the handles, with pale ales among the choices. Beers from Artisan Ales also appear alongside the house brews. Anyone heading there should expect a walk uphill from Matlock before the first pint.

“Lovely micro pub ran by a friendly lady who served me. Good selection of ale. I had a couple of pale ales and a stout or ruby one. They brew their own too so fair play. Lovely vibe inside and I got chatting to some friendly locals. Worth the walk up the hill. Recommended 🍻”
