Customer Review Summary
Smoked meats draw the most praise, with one diner calling the XL platter for two the most impressive smokehouse meat in the area for tenderness, taste and quality. Portions come up repeatedly, described as ridiculous in a good way, and pork scratchings are called a safe, tasty choice. Another reviewer noticed sharing platters at other tables that looked delightful. Staff earn warm comments, with a host singled out for knowing the food and menu well. The main caveat is service on one visit: a single server kept disappearing, drinks were slow though delivered with an apology, food sat waiting on the pass, and the bill had to be chased. Another reviewer found the music a little too loud beside the speaker, and one said the travel time was a little far. Several still plan to return, and one group left carrying their leftover sides and snacks.

“Enjoyed a little family get together, my only real complaint is the music was a little to loud, but we were seated next to the speaker. We would visit again, but the travel time is just a little to far at 35 minutes.”

“Been here twice now, our host Lewis is very knowledgable about the food and menu. To top it off, he’s a top guy! Will definitely be visiting again whilst I’m working away!! Top top tier!”

“Impeccably cooked meats, great atmosphere and lovely staff. We ordered the XL platter for two and couldn't knock any of it. We have been to every smokehouse within a 50 mile radius and this is the most impressive in regards to the tenderness, taste and quality of meat. Recommend to anyone who enjoys smokehouse, American style food.”
