“You're very fortunate if Ascough's is your local restaurant. This place gets everything right - food, atmosphere, decor, service. And especially when something goes wrong. A trainee waiter dropped a finger bowl of water on my wife, and the whole response from the staff was exemplary. The food is substantial and inventive without being heavy or over-elaborate, and the price is extremely reasonable by today's standards. I just wish we lived nearby and could come back regularly.”
