“Absolutely beautiful restaurant and in a beautiful setting. Food was really nice and a great price. All staff members made us feel so welcome. We got there quite late and was sad that we didn't get to spend a lot of time there so we will be going back soon!”

“Very nice spot beside the water, perfect for summers days. It’s great watching the narrow boats go by, ducks & swans. Service was great considering its bank holiday Monday and it was really busy. There was abit of a wait but that was expected, they handled it really well. Great food, good choice on the menu too. Dogs are allowed which is perfect, the only thing I’d say is that there’s stone / gravel down where the seating is, so it’s uncomfortable for them to stand & sit on…so mine ended up sitting on the bench. They do pup cups here so it makes up for it. Perfect place for outdoor drinks & food, I’d visit again.”

“Amazing food. Lots of gluten free and vegan options which were delicious and a huge drinks menu. They have indoor, outdoor, covered and waterfront seating to suit all tastes. It can be busy and would be good for larger groups to book in advance. You order at the bar and it can sometimes take a while to order but the food comes out so quickly!”

“We visit Foxton Lock Inn about 5 times a year to eat lunch. The bank holiday weekends are a bit of a let down on food - the quality and care into the dishes just aren’t the same when they are extremely busy. However quieter times the food is really good. The staff are lovely and helpful - definitely recommend booking. The toilets could use some plumbing work especially the taps as water doesn’t really come out of them. They love dog here - have a dogs food menu, dog treats and dog blankets”
