  “We came to the Oadby Owl for Sunday dinner today with a table of 5 and had an absolutely brilliant experience! Every single one of us got the turkey roast, and the food was utterly delicious—proper, comfort-food roast dinner done right. A special shoutout to the head barman, Ethan, who provided fantastic service from start to finish! He kept everything running smoothly and brought us extra gravy as soon as we asked without any fuss. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service—we’ll definitely be back!”

  “We had a fantastic Sunday dinner at the Oadby Owl with a party of 5! Every single one of us had the turkey roast, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were especially grateful for how attentive and understanding the team was with my nana—they accommodated her dietary requirements by preparing a smaller portion for her without any hassle. A huge shoutout to head barman Ethan as well, who provided quick, friendly, and exceptional service throughout our meal (and brought us extra gravy the second we asked!). Wonderful food, thoughtful service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “We were greeted when we arrived by Steve who was happy and smiling which is rare in hospitality these days. We found a table, which was cleaned and tidied efficiently by Meg who was also very friendly and chatty. They made the experience so much better as on this occasion the food wasn't up to the standard that we've come to expect as per previous visits which was disappointing, but their excellent customer service really did bring the evening up for us :)”

  “Chicken was dry and burnt on a portion of the bottom, seemed like it was drenched in more sauce to try make up for it. Sausages also seemed dry, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp or something for ages”

  “We often go to Oadby Owl. We love the food and its caters for all our allergies. We've been served by Ethan a few times and if we try new items from the menu he always makes us aware of any allergies it makes contain. He's very polite and friendly. The atmosphere is great whether it is busy or not. Its always clean. Food is tasty and good value. We've never had too wait too long for food. We love that its dog friendly.”

  “Ruben and Iris really nailed it today on our visit. The buffalo chicken burger and dip was smashing and left the mouth watering. Highly recommend you try them, also the cheese and bacon beef burger and halloumi bites with chilli jam is out of this world. Was gutted I didn’t order two. And a cheeky pint of thatchers apple and blackcurrants to wash them down …6 stars not just 5 and some cheeky desserts sticky toffee pud and chocolate brownie”

  “Visited today and was super impressed. I needed a fairly last minute booking for a party of 12 for a birthday celebration. After emailing an enquiry they sorted it quickly for me. The food came out quickly, bringing the kids meals out first wich is really helpful. We can get them sorted and eating, ready to eat when ours came. And it all came out quickly so we ate all together. Everyone really enjoyed their food, it was tasty and came out hot. I had the mac and cheese with hot honey and pulled pork. It was delicious and was one of the best mac and cheese iv had. I thought the pub was clean and really liked the interior. The bathrooms were lovely. All the staff we spoke to or were served by were super friendly and helpful. Definitely exceeded my expectations, thankyou.”

  “Our must visit once a week. The fish (Tilapia) and chips is top class. Portions have reduced alot which is a huge shame, considering the price is still the same, and not reduced. The quality of the food never fails though.”

  “Me and my friends got together at the Oadby Owl for our Friendsmas celebration. We had a few drinks and a lovely 3 course meal. Ethan served us and the customer service was absolutely spectacular. He even managed to clear all the plates for each course in one go — pretty impressive for a table of nine! Thank you for a great experience and table set up. We will definitely be back. 🎄✨”
