Customer Review Summary
The recurring complaint is attention at the door and the table. One reviewer stood outside while staff walked past, then saw other customers leave their seats to flag down servers. Others mention a queue on a busy Saturday and a slow start to being served. One suggests pre-booking and arriving early. A gluten-free pizza order prompted an allergy check, and one table received complimentary pasta crisps and hot chocolate.

“It was a busy sat evening, there was a little bit of queue so we waited for about 10mins to be seated. Food was usual quality I expected from Zizzi. Kitchen was effective from order placement to the food brings to the table. Staff tried their best to provide a good customer service, but it was so busy. So maybe a little bit hard to get attention, within a min. They were all trying their best, so I will give them credit for the team work and food customer service. There are minor problem, but it was so busy so I could accept some wait from the waiting staffs. I will revisit this restaurant again, strongly advise to pre-book and arrive a little bit early before your booking time.”

“Had a lovely family meal with the kids at the Trafford Centre restaurant. They had trainee chefs under instruction but you wouldn’t have know with the quality. They were a little slower but worth the wait. Our waitress Nadine was excellent and very professional.”

“Had a brilliant lunch at Zizzi Trafford Centre. Alain was hosting and was so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for him. Excellent customer service from start to finish. The rest of the waiters and waitresses were brilliant too, really friendly and attentive throughout. Food was lovely and the whole experience made the visit even better. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!”

“First problem was that no one seated us down, we stood outside the wait here area for maybe 10 mins staff kept seeing us and walking past, we eventually went inside then staff finally gave us a table, the guy staff i dont know his name but he was amazing very friendly and nice, if i ever open a restuarant i will be taking him to work with me haha or make him business partner, theres a lot of staff in this place and no customers so i didnt understand why no one came to see us for so long. The next problem was the cutlery and plates provided were dusty and dirty as shown in the pictures. Need more cleaning properly. The garlic bread was very nice, food was excellent, again the male staff member was very nice Would i come again, probably not but if i did i would only come to offer that guy a job at my restuarant when i open one, but other than that no, needs a lot of work, it makes sense now why it has no customers while rest of trafford food places were jam packed. So fix the cleaning, fix attentiveness, few times i seen customers getting up to get servers attention from inside, theres a lot of competition in here and even more coming, you gotta improve standards to get customers and retain them too.”

“finally got the chance to bring some of my mates in to see where I spend a lot of my time this Saturday gone . It genuinely meant a lot to show them not just the place itself, but the people behind it who make it what it is. The team on shift absolutely smashed it and really represented the standards I believe in. Big shoutout to Danny — Mr Manager Man himself — who was leading with that “where there’s a will, there’s a way” mindset. They had a chef off ill, and instead of standing back and worrying Danny got his uniform and cap on, stepped straight into the kitchen, and got stuck in. That kind of attitude doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — there’s a clear difference between a boss and a leader, and Danny is definitely the latter. The food was on point, the service was smooth, and the hospitality was exactly how it should be — warm, welcoming, and professional. My mates left impressed, and I felt proud to be part of it. Nights like that remind me why I do what I do. The whole team did amazing you know yourselves if I write each name it’ll be an essay but well done guys”
