  “Was recommend this place by family so finally made it & yes the high rating is definitely justified (4.8) at the time of leaving this review. Food was excellent & service matched the food or maybe even better! On arrival we met Kelly who looked after the 5 of us for the evening, what a wonderful young lady! It's rare to find a young person (male or female) capable of working so hard and yet so respectful to us oldies. Will be back for sure!”

  “Went here to treat my wife for Lunch as it was her birthday. We were the first customer for the lunch service. The wife wanted a mocktail, guy made Piña colada for my wife even though its not in the menu. The Guac on toast i had was great. The Zucchini fritters the wife had was also good. Lamb and chicken skewers were spot on. The girl gave us complimentary chicolate cake, was a great surprise. We loved it there so much that my wife brought two of her girl friends to dinner there same day.”

  “We visited here on Monday evening after being at Heaton Park. The food and service was excellent. Special mention to Lewis who was very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We ordered a mix of starters and mains to share and everything was full of flavour. Restaurant is very clean and comfortable. Thank you!”

  “I would like to say a big thank you to the whole team! Yesterday was my third time visiting this restaurant, and once again I was very impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. Every time I come here, I leave even more satisfied than before. I would especially like to mention Irish (I hope I've spelled her name correctly). She was incredibly polite, friendly, attentive, and highly professional. She made sure we had everything we needed and looked after us throughout our visit with a warm smile and genuine kindness. Outstanding customer service like this is rare to find. She truly deserves recognition and made our experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent food and exceptional service!”

  “Absolutely love coming here. The food is phenomenal, had the tapas platter for two and the special chicken skewers (always juice and tender!). Had the homemade Biscoff cheesecake to finish, which is the best I’d ever had. Service is top notch, and they make extra effort on birthdays! Couldn’t really fit in another portion of cheesecake, but it’s the sacrifice we make 😁 Thanks, Melis!”

  “It was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed by two young ladies and we were able to choose our table as we dined around 4pm which was before the rush on a Saturday night. The young lady, who was always smiling was very helpful and being patient, shadowing her work colleague. Our food took a little time, which is a good sign. All meals piping hot, freshly cooked with good flavours. A credit to the bar staff, the young gentleman made us the best strawberry daiquiri, we could see him, taking his time preparing the drink. 11/10 Now I know where to have my birthday meal, highly recommend this place. 😊”

  “Do not be put off by the previous owners . I love Melis not only its local, the food is fantastic and very consistent, they have a great menu, I even enjoy the chicken meatball wrap they have on the lunch menu . The meat platter for 2 would feed 3 people, and the chicken , chorizo paella amazing its my new favourite place to go to. Staff are very friendly and professional, they are very accommodating . A clean environment nice atmosphere and comfortable. They sometimes habe a belly dancer on on a Saturday. I highly recommend you give it a try .”

  “This was our first time at this restaurant. We were meeting friends. The lamb and dessert were delicious. The fish and chicken dishes were also great. The portions were large and tasty. The service was excellent. Thank you so much! Turkish tea and cappuccino were great !🤗”

  “Such a great experience at Melis Restaurant Whitefield! The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We tried a few different dishes, and everything was perfect. The staff were super friendly, polite, and attentive, making us feel really welcome. Definitely a great spot for meeting with friends or family. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!”

  “A friend of mine recommended me this restaurant. Is a new opening but I know that they have another restaurant in Wigan. The place itself is beautiful! I went last night and it was raining but I think that their terrace looks amazing for sunny days too! The vibes were great! Perfect for a date night or if you want to go out with your friends! The service was spot on! They were very friendly and professional and they recommend me the best dishes on the menu accordingly with my taste! The menu is very large so you have plenty of options if you like Mediterranean food and you want to try something different! I got hallumi fries and Melis chicken doner! It was so good and you can tell that they use fresh ingredients perfectly cooked!! They suggested me also to try the Turkish tea at the end of the meal and it was incredible! The portions are big and is a good value for money too! I definitely gonna come back and try something else! See you soon 😁”
