Customer Review Summary
Diners most consistently return for the chicken burgers and strip meals, singling out the juicy, flavorful chicken and the hot sauce as standout elements, with several noting the food’s reliability over years. Close behind, the double spicy chicken fillet burger and wraps earn praise, though one reviewer received a wrap with mayo despite requesting none, an issue resolved quickly with a replacement delivered within ten minutes. Payment frustrations recur, with multiple reviews stating cash is the only accepted method, forcing some to leave and find an ATM, while others describe a QR code ordering system with a 50p service charge. Service draws mixed reactions: some call it friendly and fast, while others describe slow waits, cold food arriving late, or unhelpful responses to complaints, including a refusal to adjust an order after packing and a dispute over the size of wings. One reviewer reports a relative fell ill after eating, and several criticize the sauces as weak or flavorless. The dining area is noted as limited and, in one account, not very clean.

“The food was okay, but the burger bun was too soft. You can’t pay by debit card or Apple Pay — you have to scan a QR code, order online, and there’s a 50p service charge, which I assume is for card payments. The dining area wasn’t very clean, and I had to wait quite a long time for my order.”

“Really disappointing experience. First of all, they only accept cash, which wasn’t made clear beforehand. I had to walk nearly a mile to find a cash machine, and then another, as all the ones in the area were out of service. After finally getting cash, I placed an order of nearly £60. Only after completing the order did they mention that cheese costs extra. I said that was fine, but they refused to add it, saying the food was already packed and couldn’t be reopened. Overall, very poor customer service, especially from the young lad serving. Hopefully this improves in the future, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t rush back.”

““I’ve been a customer of this takeaway for about five years. One time, my food arrived an hour and a half late and completely cold—basically inedible. When I called to complain, they apologized and Ali promised next time I’d be charged half …”

“Made an order for delivery, not the first time at this place. Strip meal was fantastic as per, but unfortunately the wrap had mayo in it despite asking for none. Called up, got it sorted within a minute, delivered within 10. Great customer service, great food. Will keep coming back”

“Food is top quality . No compromise on taste. Their is a lack of seating but it is a takeaway . The hot sauce is amazing.. and is exactly as it's been for the last 2 years . Unlike other similar spicy burger places with similar venues. Food is consistent. Will be visiting again and I would recommend to try at least once .”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
