About Marleo Street Food
Marleo Street Food is an Italian street food restaurant in Manchester, run from a cabin at 15 Pollard St E within a community of other businesses. The family-run kitchen makes its panini with bread baked on site. The Focaccia Porchetta puts porchetta inside focaccia, and the arancine are arancini filled with meat ragù. A display cabinet holds other items to choose from, and biscuits are sold too. Meals can end with cannoli, including a pistachio version. The owners welcome feedback from customers on the menu and the service. The cabin opens Tuesday to Saturday and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

“FEEL LIKE HOME 🏠❤️ As a Sicilian living abroad, I cannot recommend this gorgeous little restaurant enough!!! The food, the warm welcoming, the vibes… everything was 10 out of 10! Thank you for bringing a piece of home here in Manchester! I cannot recommend it enough! ❤️ can’t wait to go back and try anything else I’ve not tried 😋”

“bought some biscuits of knutsford market a while ago and happened to be in manchester and thought to try them for lunch, unfortunately they were shut but the cabin door was slightly ajar so i popped my head in and thought it was worth a punt bought some more biscuits and the lady asked where we'd come from and offered to make us a couple sandwiches that she could offer, they were incredible! she really did go above and beyond to sort us out! lot of love in what they do”

“Amazing place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The arancine were absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside, soft and full of flavour inside, and tasted truly authentic. The panini were also excellent: fresh, generous, and made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it really feels like being in Italy, even though you are in Manchester. Everything has that authentic Italian touch, from the food to the overall experience. Highly recommended — a perfect place for anyone who loves proper Italian arancine and panini!”

“Brilliant , the owner was brilliant ! They had sold out of sandwiches upon our arrival but let us know more bread was being baked and would be ready shortly. All I heard is we now had an excuse to sample some other offerings lol. After picking some other offerings from the display cabinet we grabbed a bench out front and tucked in ! Certainly didn't disappoint! Then after around 30 mins they gave me a call to let us know round two was ready ! Honestly worth the trip, incredible food made with passion I will certainly be both spreading the word !”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the arancini, especially the meat ragù version, described as golden and crispy outside and rich and comforting inside. The porchetta focaccia comes close behind, with the panini, a nfigghiulate and pistachio cannoli also named. Several Sicilian reviewers say the food tastes authentic and like home, and one says it beat what they had back in Sicily. Hospitality is a steady theme. Reviewers describe the owners as warm, and some mention a free coffee and cannolo or a cannoli gift to finish. One visitor found the cabin shut, yet the lady made them sandwiches anyway. Another arrived to sold-out sandwiches, was told more bread was baking, and got a phone call about 30 minutes later when the second batch was ready. No recurring complaints appear, and the only snag described was that sandwich sellout. One reviewer calls it the best sandwich in Manchester, and another says they will spread the word.
