  “A delicious meal. Expensive for what it is, but yummy none the less. Uber clean toilets and fabulous service - Jen and Al were excellent and really made the experience. Thank you... we'll be back!”

  “Lovely cocktails and food at little beast last night. Jen was so good with us and helpful with helping us choose off the menu … the Cabbage was amazing! Also in getting us cocktails that weren’t on the menu! Would defo recommend great vibes great food and great service.”

  “Our first visit to little beast before the PSG game, overall a decent experience however not one that the price range warrants. The meal was made by Emma Hearder the waitress who couldn’t do anything more for us. She ensured we had everything we needed. The disappointment was felt when I was served dairy butter alongside the steak even though it had been put through to the kitchen as dairy free. This wasn’t the only time that this was observed happening tonight multiple occasions food was returned to the kitchen to be rectified. We also had a beef skirt that was returned due to being cold on service. If it hadn’t been for Emma serving we would’ve been extremely disappointed with the experience.”

  “What a lovely restaurant I would highly recommend a visit. From walking in to leaving our lovely waitress Emma was so welcoming and chatty, very knowledgable about courses and cocktails. Food was excellent we had a lovely evening and will be visiting again.”

  “Absolutely beautiful from all the ladies,Jen was fantastic and I can’t praise the young ladies serving my food,so polite and professional a credit to your restaurant. Really impressed with the food and cleanliness of the restaurant,I thanked the chefs as I was leaving,they were very pleasant. Highly recommend guy’s,give it a go. You will be impressed.”

  “What a beautiful restaurant! The decor and vibes were amazing! we went during the soft launch 50% off week and it was excellent. Highlights were the cheese on toast and cherry cherry dessert which our waiter (the young girl with the hair pin) recommended. she was very helpful with portion sizes and so attentive - never had an empty drink. I was on the fence about the pink moon and how greatful I am i got it. It was such a delightful cocktail will definitely be back again”

  “Warm welcome and attentive staff. Unfortunately we were left disappointed with the food. There were some fantastic flavours, the cheese on toast and chicken ballotine were highlights, but the portion sizes for the price were really disappointing and other dishes, including dessert, let it down. We went as part of the soft launch which had 50% off food and it was still expensive for what we received.”

  “Thoroughly mediocre; will add that my visit was during the soft launch, which is why I give three stars for service rather than two. Staff were very friendly, but considering how few tables were occupied, it shouldn’t take 15 mins to get your wait staff to attend. Cocktails were great, off the specials menu, possibly quite light in alcohol but good taste. The cheese on toast was fine, but too thick - as a woman, I could not get it into my mouth without my teeth knocking off the whipped topping or it going on my face. The chicken bonbons were also fine, not hot enough and a bit dry on the inside but perfectly palatable. The turbot was such a disappointment. £38, and that’s all you get?! Presumably due to the “Exmoor caviar” included, which was entirely unnecessary as it had next to no taste and zero ‘pop’ in the mouth. I would have expected more than two small pieces for that price. Given that staff briefed that the menu doesn’t do starters or mains and that everything was to share, it was confusing when staff brought over the turbot and tried to work out who it was for. The grapes just tasted like grapes, and the cucumber was just cucumber. It was the desserts that destroyed me to be honest. The s’more - there was no cracker as per the American core ingredient, no texture. However, while not on the menu, there was a lime sorbet included?! Did not work and was not needed. The dark chocolate namalaka was not that dark, no bitterness to counterbalance the marshmallow which tasted like that fluff from a jar. As for the affogato cheesecake, that also had other hidden ingredients - a lime jelly, and whole hazelnuts. Lime jelly with ice cream and coffee poured across it… absolutely not. If the lime and hazelnuts were included on the menu, I would have chosen something else. It ended up quickly being a soup, with lime jelly floating in it. As for the vibe, felt like there were too many tables inside, as I was very close to several other tables, but I suppose they are expecting big numbers. Glad I went for the soft launch, don’t expect I’ll go again!”

  “Had difficulty finding where it was but once arrived received a warm welcome from the staff. Delicious sweet pea cocktail to start. Food was enjoyable and well cooked but a few dishes could have been hotter. Particular highlights were the cheese on toast (though served cold), the cod and the chips which were perfect Overall a few small issues which are probably to be expected during an initial opening. I wish it well !”
