About Everest MoMo Station
Momos are the focus at Everest MoMo Station, a Nepalese restaurant in Manchester at 28A Bury New Rd. The kitchen makes them steamed, fried, chilli, tandoori and salt-and-pepper style, and the jhol momo is served in a soup with chicken, mutton or vegetable fillings. A momo platter lets a table sample the variations in one order. Beyond the momos, the menu includes Nepali dishes such as chole bhature, with both meat and vegetarian options. The space is small, and tables are often busy with a short wait at peak times. Masala tea is on the menu.

Customer Review Summary
Jhol momo, served in a flavourful soup, is the dish reviewers raise most, with chicken and veg versions both named and one diner calling it comforting in cold weather. Chilli momos, chicken and mutton, come close behind, followed by tandoori, fried and steamed momos, keema noodles, prawn rice, Nepali chatpate and masala tea. Reviewers describe authentic flavours, huge portions and friendly, lovely staff, and several call the momos a must-try. A few mention a short wait in a small space, and one notes new staff forgetting a few things but apologising. Criticism of the food is mostly mild: the yellow sauce on a platter tasted too turmericy, and the pani puri and chicken dosa were just okay. The sharpest complaint comes from a regular who found the Everest Special Ramen was instant packet noodles with two chicken sausages, an omelette and three momos, and asked why it carries the special name. Another diner noticed most plates around the room had been cleared to the last drop.

“I recently dined here and ordered their Everest Special Ramen for £15.50🔴. It turned out to be instant packet noodles served with 2 chicken sausages, an omelette, and 3 momos. I was extremely disappointed because I was expecting their authentic, kitchen-made noodles. Charging £15.50🔴 for packet noodles is not at all justified. Can management please explain why it is named 'Everest Special Ramen' and is the highest priced noodle dish on the menu when it's just packet noodles? Service and ambience was good. I am a regular customer here and my past experiences have been amazing, but after this, I am not sure I will be coming back again”

“Every time me and my bestfriend come we have such a lovely warming experience! Onzilla presents such friendly and informative customer service to help us navigate the menu. The menu has so many options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Our favourites are the chilli and jhol momos, mutton and chicken! The flavours are immaculate and absolutely satisfy the need for authentic desi/ nepali food. 😍”

“I saw a review of this place on tiktok and decided to try it out. There was a short wait time because it’s not a big space. But it was absolutely worth it! We had momos and it was absolutely delicious. I think the first thing I noticed when I walked in was that most of the plates on people’s table were clean, I mean they ate every last drop. That was my sign that I was in the right place. We also cleared out our plate. The food was sooo good. I’d join a queue for this food if I have to 😂 PS: this is the chicken payat soup It’s different from the plain one”
