About Brewski Bar
Brewski Bar is a new American restaurant at 537-539 Wilbraham Rd in Manchester, with a menu that moves through regional American cooking. The Ultimate Wagyu sharing platter puts Wagyu bavette, a bone marrow burger, birria tacos and truffle Parmesan fries on one tray, so a table can work through several dishes at once. Poutine is on the menu, including a chicken version, and other sharing platters carry New Orleans-inspired themes. Desserts are made in house, among them a Jaffa cake cheesecake. A cocktail list sits alongside the food, and a happy hour offers two-for-one cocktails. Parking nearby is limited, and the Morrisons car park has a 2 hour maximum.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the Ultimate Wagyu sharing platter, with the bone marrow, truffle and parmesan burger singled out as its highpoint and the birria tacos and truffle parmesan fries close behind. Chicken poutine, mac and cheese with a crispy top, and desserts such as the Kinder blackout cake draw repeated praise, as do the cherry cream sodas and cocktails. Staff are described as friendly and attentive across most visits, including one new team member who impressed a table. The caveats are real, though. One reviewer found the wagyu platter bland, with a burnt onion flavour on the burgers. Another, on a return visit, reported a refused empty booth, a wobbly table, slow order-taking, hard reheated roast potatoes, burnt cabbage, parsnip and pigs in blanket, little gravy and watery post-mix drinks, with only the homemade Yorkshire pudding praised. A wrongly applied no-show charge was reversed after a phone call. Another reviewer's birthday meal ended with a handwritten card, a free drink and a candle on the Jaffa cake cheesecake.

“Service is exceptional, food is ok. Mac and cheese, poutine and desserts are delicious however. We ordered two waygu platters and whilst the food was warm and well cooked, the flavours were lacking, the steak, king prawns, tasted bland. The burgers on the platter were bland and the onions had a slightly burnt flavour. Exception was: - Poutine - delicious, crispy fries, meaty gravy and cheese puuuuullllll. - Mac and cheese - Crispy top, meaty cheese, probably one of the best I have had. - The kinder blackout cake - So deecadant, chocolatey and sweet. Wish I had some espresso so drink with it. Service is where Brewskis shines. All the staff were amazing, attentive and accommodating. Truly how service staff should be. I would come again, and order, Poutine, Mac and cheese, and desserts.”

“Me and my boyfriend came for a meal as he’d been wanting to go for a few years. We each got a main and dessert and it was lovely. Great, friendly and attentive staff and good chilled vibes. Would make the trip again from Leeds, it’s worth it.”

“Never been before, appeared on a feed on Facebook and took a look at the menu. We are a meat loving family and the menu was right up our street so we booked as part of a day out in Manchester. Apart from the challenge of parking (drove around for a bit the a spot right outside! became free) the experience was top notch. Drinks were on point with a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, soft drinks and ales. Food. Yum. We had the Ultimate Wagyu sharing platter and everything on it was delicious, the highpoint being the bone marrow, truffle and parmesan burger quote wife and son "best burger I've ever had" and we go to a lot of independent burger/steak restaurants. Service spot on, one dude had an Alex Is On Fire t-shirt (respect) and everyone was helpful and very polite with good recommendations knowing the drinks and food menu well. All in all, we'd drive to Manchester just to come here again. Awesome food and great atmosphere.”

“Joint birthday family meal, booked as a result of my son's recommendation. 5* quality throughout staff friendly & professional, food excellent and a good atmosphere. Fully recommended and we've already booked for another grandsons birthday next month.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A brilliant Sunday alternative! I was looking for something a little different from the usual Sunday roast and had initially planned to head to Jane Eyre. Then I spotted Brewski in Chorlton and, after seeing the menu, I very quickly changed my mind — and I’m so glad I did! I went for the Ultimate Wagyu Deal, and it was an absolute feast. The platter came with Wagyu bavette, the Bone Marrow, Truffle & Parmesan Burger, Bourbon, Bacon & Blue Burger, petite steak fries, Wagyu beef birria tacos, truffle Parmesan fries and a bacon Caesar salad. The portions were generous, everything looked incredible and, most importantly, the food delivered on flavour. The steaks were cooked beautifully, the burgers were seriously indulgent and the birria tacos were a particular highlight. The truffle Parmesan fries were also dangerously good! I had a Pepsi alongside the food and an Old Fashioned cocktail, which was a great way to round off the meal. Overall, Brewski was exactly what I was looking for — fun, indulgent and a great alternative to a traditional Sunday roast. The Ultimate Wagyu Deal is definitely worth trying if you’re hungry! Great food, generous portions and a really enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be back! 🥩🍔🍟🥃”
