Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the kobeda kebab and qabli pilau rice as standouts, praising the tender, flavorful meat and the well-balanced spices. Freshly made naan and Afghan rice also earn repeated mention for their quality, with several noting the generous portions and reasonable prices. A few highlight the warm, relaxed atmosphere upstairs, though one reviewer calls it dated. Service is frequently described as friendly, but one account reports poor service and undercooked kabab, while another criticizes the shared platter as insufficient for two, lacking extra naan or rice. One diner notes the salad, hummus, and dips with fresh bread as a satisfying late-night meal.

The shared platter is barely enough for one person. Ordering separate meals is probably cheaper. Person at the till stated shared platter is for two people it doesnt even come with two naan breads or two plates of rice. Food is okay but wasnt happy with the shared platter at all. £25 for a meal that isnt as filling as the £9 meals.

They serve delicious grilled dishes and Afghan cuisine at really reasonable prices. The food quality is great, and my favorite items are the easy pillow and kobeda kebab! However, the atmosphere could use a bit of improvement.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
