About Chopstix - Manchester Piccadilly
Chopstix is a Chinese noodle restaurant in Manchester, set in Unit 9 at a train station and run as counter service. The "Create your own box" lets diners choose rice or noodles and then add toppings, which suits travellers who want to build a meal to their own order. Fried noodles and fried rice are on the menu, and sweet and sour chicken is one of the named dishes. Staff at the counter help with ordering choices and point out the vegan and veggie options. Prawn crackers and dips come as sides. Soy sauce sits on the table, and the restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the create-your-own box and the fried noodles, with the fried chicken in the noodles and the sweet and sour chicken also singled out. Several call the portions a decent size and the food good value, and the staff at the counter get repeated praise for helping indecisive diners choose, including pointing out vegan and veggie options. Others note the food is quick and hot, and one calls it among the better food at a train station. The complaints are specific. One reviewer found the noodles had too much soy sauce, another thought the fried rice average and wants a dedicated vegetarian dish, and one says the atmosphere feels sterile like a chain. Price draws comment too, with sauces charged separately. One delivery order arrived stone cold with the dip and prawn crackers missing, and one reviewer describes hair in their chicken and a taste like it had been fried repeatedly. Reviewers who liked it close on the counter staff who helped them decide what to order.

“Absolutely disgusting food. Only if I could show you guys the food. It looked amazing presentation was amazing but absolutely horrible taste. Chicken tasted like it was fried multiple times with a weird taste. Also hair in my chicken, which is absolutely ridiculous needs shutting down, worst Chinese I’ve ever had”

“It was a pleasure being served by your respected staff Keerthi who helped me with my diet preferences. Me being very indecisive, she showed me the types of vegan food you do and she reassured me it was going to be a good shout. After a very tiring day it was an absolute pleasure to have met Keerthi who understood my needs and made my day better! What a great asset to your firm. I very much enjoyed the food. Thank you! 😊”

“Pretty good. Atmosphere is typical of a chain very sterile. Food was surprisingly good but overall quite pricy. Paid 12.50 for one. Condiments were 99p for three sauces they should be free really and soy sauce on the table. However of all things I have ever eaten at train stations one of the best in terms of food”

“Delicious food, lovely staff - the lady at the counter Mirela was very helpful when I wasn't sure what to order and never stopped working hard even when it was quiet. Will always pop in every time I'm nearby”
