  “First time having Korean Fried Chicken and all I can say is............ Amazing! Stayed at the Holiday Inn literally across the road, read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go. Honestly it was the nicest fried chicken I've ever eaten. The food was fresh, hot and the coating was so crispy!!!! Never had Korean food before so I wasn't sure on the glazes or dips, but I ended up going with the honey/garlic glaze on the fillets, and a soy/garlic glaze on the drumsticks, glad I did as both were delicious. If you're in the neighbourhood and you like Chicken, you have to check it out!”

  “Called in for a takeaway whilst on a work break. The computer ordering system was easy to use and catered for both Korean and English speaking clients. The food was ready quickly after paying. Staff very polite when handing the order over. Food was both tasty and satisfying and a decent portion size. I'll definitely be back to hopefully have a sit down meal.”

  “Been here for a couple times every other month, truthfully speaking, they are offering consistently appealing chicken, Exceeds what I expected since I first heard it at the social media, Amazing quality of fried chicken drumsticks, wings and delicious sauce going along with them, got to keep them coming, trying different spices, the hot pepper and honey garlic flavour is outstanding, the 3rd place have to go to sweet and spicy. Tornado Potatoes pretty nice too”

  “K pop playing, chilled nice atmosphere. 4 piece wings with spicy n sweet sauce taste great, chicken cooked to perfection, nice crisp and taste well balanced. Asashi served cold from tap. Korean cooks and staff. Highly recommended for a an relaxed anju experience.”

  “This is my favourite spot. The best fried chicken you can find in Manchester. This fried chicken is with a twist. Comes with a variety of sauces to choose from. Has tons of options for the sides as well. The staff members are always friendly and provide good customer service every time.”

  “Considering Korean fried chicken is one of my favourite foods, I have to say Chimaek does a pretty good job imitating this Korean dish. I would warn that the ‘sweet and spicy’ is really quite hot, but the ‘honey and garlic’ is a much better alternative. Portions are fairly generous too, I’d recommend the drumsticks”

  “Very crispy chicken and good sauces. Only major complaint is that the oil they used for frying tastes a bit old and stale, especially evident on the tornado potato. Otherwise, slightly more sauce on the chicken would be good.”

  “I recently had lunch here and it was ok. Honestly the food was very crudely put together (as you can see from the pictures) and there was no condiments for the fries. I was charged £1.50 for a pot of mayo for my fries. Also the food wasnt especially flavoursome and to my mind has to much chilly in it. For what it was the price seemed a little too high.”

  “Finally a place that sells HALAL Korean food! Great chicken and sides - I would recommend the burgers, chicken thighs and the potato side dish. The army stew however was average. The service was slow even when it wasn’t peak time but I would say the quality of the food makes up for it! It is a great place to visit with friends.”

  “Korean Fried Chicken ! Authentic Korean staff with k-pop music videos. The fried chicken is very crunchy, there are five sauces to choose from, we had the soy and garlic which I found to be a tad too salty. The drinks with the meal combo are very small, kid size ! It's quite a pricey place, not enough variety in the menu for me to return.”
