Quick info
About Three Cups Inn
Three Cups Inn is a pub at 90 Triangle in Malmesbury, and it is the oldest pub in the town. The kitchen now serves only vegan and vegetarian food, drawing on world cuisine, with a small evening menu that includes pizza. Vegan roasts run monthly from September to April. At the bar, real ales such as Landlord sit alongside a wine list. Live music is a regular feature, with open mic nights and folk sessions, and the Hayloft works as the music venue. Elsewhere in the pub, the snug has books and board games, scrabble among them. Dogs are welcome, and the pub provides blankets, treats and bowls for them. The ladies' loos are papered with pages from old Jackie magazines.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for the live music, with open mic nights, folk sessions and gigs in the Hayloft, an intimate venue, alongside performances in the bar and snug. Close behind is the all vegetarian and vegan food, called delicious and good value. One non-vegetarian regular says it is always good, and another calls it the best vegetarian cuisine for miles. The wine list and great beer also draw praise. Staff are described as welcoming and friendly, even when the pub gets busy, and the quirky, eclectic decor and the garden with wild flowers and herbs come up repeatedly. A snug with books and games for little ones gets a mention too. The one recurring complaint is parking, which two reviewers call tricky, with only street spaces nearby and a public car park a short walk away. One suggests checking what's on before going. Several note the dog blankets, treats and bowls freely available to use.

“Lovely little (but surprisingly capacious) pub with eclectic decor and great live music. The ladies' loos are papered with old pages of Jackie magazine! Cute little garden out the back. Parking tricky, but a short walk away was a public car park (with free parking after 6pm) and a few spaces.”

“Had a great pint or two here and enjoyed the quirky decor. Interested to go back and sampling the all vegan menu. Parking tricky, only on street available. Looks like it does lots of interesting events so check what's on before going.”

“I have been frequenting the Cups for over two years now and hands down it is the most welcoming and supportive place you could ever hope to find. I am not a veggie but the food I do have is always amazing and people who do eat there more than I do say it’s fab. The atmosphere is so warm, the regular music is usually brilliant with a good variety of genres. Add in hobby stuff, board games, open mic nights…this place is a one-stop shop for nourishing the soul! Love it 😊”

“Absolutely love this little gem of a pub ! It’s cosy , quirky and welcoming. The staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The food is DELICIOUS ! And such good value for money . It is definitely the best vegetarian cuisine for miles in my opinion . The music scene has something for everyone. It’s more than a pub , it’s a social hub in the community . Thank you Janinka , Gary and the Cups team ! If there were a golden buzzer on here you would get it ! 🎉🎉🎉 ohhh and the wine list is ❤️👌”

“Rarely find such a welcoming and friendly pub. On top of which, there is so much happening: great food, clubs, music. The Hayloft is a jewel as an intimate live music venue, whilst the bar and snug host live musicians, open mics, and folk sessions. Great atmosphere and great beer too!”
