  “We had a very nice meal here last night celebrating our 57th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, the service was to, and looked after by a very charming Greek man who was very friendly, polite and helpful. The food was excellent, presented well and almost too much to eat. Really recommend this to anyone. Definately will be visiting again when next in the area.”

  “Popped in on a Friday about 5:30pm, so wasn’t expecting it to be busy. First impression: smart restaurant layout and far too many staff. There were at least 8 serving staff wafting around, half of them on their phones. We went into the beer garden, which was pretty tatty (assuming that it’s next on the list for an update). We got a drink and the halloumi fries. Think the picture speaks for itself - these were £6.50”

  “Just had the most amazing pork tenderloin in black pudding sauce. Partner had the chicken en croute. Great service by fantastic new owners, food was amazing, prices reasonable. 100% recommend. If you've not eaten here recently, you're missing out.”

  “The Smoking Dog is a super friendly and cozy pub . The staff are really friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent. The meat and cheese platter was epic. The pub feels like a social hub for Malmesbury, you can really feel the community spirit when you’re here. Great place and will 100% be coming back here again.”

  “My partner and I were passing by and we stopped by for lunch. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Even though it wasn’t busy due to the restrictions, the atmosphere was great. We had the corn fed chicken and roasted hake and they were both wonderfully cooked.”
