About Tunisian Street Kitchen
Tunisian Street Kitchen serves Tunisian food on Lower Marsh in London, with a menu of around 70 dishes covering the full range of the cuisine. Breakfast arrives as a single dish built from many small components on shared crockery, including foul with flatbread, jam, honey, cucumber, tomatoes and olives. Ojja, egg poached in a tomato sauce with mergez lamb sausage, appears as a recurring dish, alongside the Lamb Mosli. Couscous comes with lamb or with chicken and vegetables, and a chicken wrap is also on offer. Portions across these dishes run generous. All food served is halal. The interior takes a cafe and diner style approach, with Tunisian and Mediterranean products and art on display throughout the room. The restaurant opens daily, giving diners a consistent window to drop in for either breakfast or a full meal from the wider menu.

Customer Review Summary
The Tunisian breakfast draws the most attention, a single plate of small components, including egg dishes like Ojja with mergez sausage and creamy Foul, served with flatbread, jam, honey and olives. Close behind, the lamb mosli and lamb couscous with Tunisian salad earn repeated praise for tender meat and generous portions, and several mention the chicken wrap and couscous with chicken and veggies as satisfying casual meals. The atmosphere is described as homely and relaxed, sometimes "a wee bit timid" but never a real detraction, and the owner and staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive. One reviewer's main complaint was the bread with the breakfast, calling it cold, chewy and thin, and wishing for something thicker and warmer given the saucy dishes. Another found the flavours generally on the blander side despite beautiful presentation. Diners note being served quickly even without a reservation on a quiet evening.

“Although the ambiance is a wee bit timid, the food is not. Great flavours, yummy all-day-brunch with Ojja (Tunisian egg dish poached in a rich tomato shakshuka style sauce with mergez: lamb sausage), Foul (creamy fafa beans with spices, tahini and oil), flatbread and jam, honey, cucumber, tomatoes, olives and Chamia (very sweet Tunisian spread). Very good for 16,5 pounds.”
