Don’t wait just go! This place deserves to have a line around the corner! ========== If I could give Three Bowls 10 stars, I would. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Every single thing I ordered was exceptional. The Cucumber Fungus Yuba Salad was incredibly fresh, crisp, and beautifully prepared — light, vibrant, and packed with flavour. The Budda Vegan Pot was outstanding: rich, comforting, deeply satisfying, and clearly made with real care. You could taste the quality in every bite. Even the Hainan Green Tea was spot on — clean, soothing, and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. And then the Qing Bu Liang… I probably did not need to order dessert as someone eating alone, because it was huge and I was already full — but I have absolutely no regrets. It was spectacular. Generous, delicious, and the perfect finish to an already excellent meal. The staff were also genuinely lovely. The older gentleman and older woman who served me were so warm, friendly, and kind. Even with a bit of a language barrier, their hospitality came through so clearly. They made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal, and that sort of kindness matters just as much as the food. The price was excellent, the portion sizes were perfect (honestly, very generous), and the overall experience was superb. Fresh, delicious, thoughtfully prepared food, wonderful staff, and fantastic value. I’ll happily come back.”

  “By the end of our clay pot we actually bit into a cigarette butt. It wasn’t something we noticed at the start – we only found it after finishing almost the whole dish. Even worse, one of us mistook it for bamboo shoot and actually chewed it twice. It was genuinely revolting 🤮🤮🤮 This is something that had clearly been in someone else’s mouth… we honestly don’t want to think about what saliva or bacteria could have been on it. When we asked the manager to come over, the first thing she did was quickly take the cigarette butt away. She then told us: “We can only take this dish off your bill.” A cigarette butt in our food and only that dish removed? It felt unbelievable. We explained how unacceptable this was and spoke with her for more than ten minutes, yet she still insisted: “At most we can give you 50% off.” We weren’t asking for compensation — just the very basic courtesy of not being charged for the meal. Even that wasn’t offered. We had also noticed a strange smell from the table as soon as we sat down. At the time we thought it might be a minor issue, but after what happened, we can’t help but wonder about the overall cleanliness. For the sake of others’ wellbeing, we genuinely recommend avoiding this place.”

  “We came here for some authentic Hainanese food and overall it was a great experience. The sharing platter was good — although it says for 3–4 people, it’s really just right for three. If you want a more satisfying meal, it’s worth ordering …”

  “We had really delicious ‘home cooked’ Chinese food here. The food was made completely fresh, really flavoursome and not oily at all. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu is superb - there’s a rich variety of both veggie and meat dishes to order. Has become one of our favourite ‘authentic’ Chinese restaurants in London!”
