  “Shishlique is a great local Turkish place and has become a regular for me. It's my go-to for comfort food and for refuelling after exercise, especially after Reformer Pilates ;) The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and it's very well priced, particularly by London standards! The staff are incredibly hospitable. Today Ibrahim made me one of his lamb kebab wraps, which are super filling and comforting. Shishlique is the kind of place where I happily pop in on my own for a wrap, and also invited good friends here for lunch, all of whom loved it. Highly recommend!”

  “Food is tasty, but be mindful (as no warning comes from the lovely people that cook delicious food for you)... Anything you order will leak on your clothes (talking about a cup of juice!!!) It is a shame, otherwise it wouldhave been a higher score. Big fail, they should not allow food to eat standing, with a warning, common logic and sense.”

  “The meat is one of the best I’ve ever had in London (I would even say the best). It’s very juicy, tender, and most importantly, not overcooked. I was thrilled, it’s absolutely delicious, and the portions are quite large.”

  “Stumbled upon this place after getting on the wrong bus during a recent trip to London. So get we did. Visted a lunchtime, had the most delicious lamb kebab on the spit I've ever had. Rice was fluffy and tasted lovely. Great size portions too. Staff were lovely. Wish we lived closer as this would definitely be a regular.”

  “We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was quite full with many takeaway orders. Although there were many customers, we didn't have to wait too long for food. It was nice to see the meat and dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen right next to the seating area. The portions were perfect and there was a good mix of salad, rice and meat. All the food was seasoned well and had a nice charred taste to them. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend this place!”

  “Atmosphere was great with nice mellow music. Decor was great. Food was reasonably priced and big portions. Taste was authentic Turkish. Missing a few main Turkish dishes like Lamb Ribs and Lamb Mince Pizza. Overall service was good. Would recommend this local to all.”
