  “My friend and I visited for a brunch, mid day dining experience. As one of the first customers there, we were greeted by polite staff and guided to our seat by the window. As we were deciding on what to order, we were presented with a miso soup each and (coarse) salted edamame beans. That was a nice touch. The brunch menu includes one item from the first column, one item from the second column and a main. Optional sides. I enjoyed the yellow fin with lime, avocado and jalapeño, the dragon roll with crispy prawn inside, and my friend enjoyed a spicy tuna maki roll, with some crispy (tiny) chicken wings. Those were honestly the smallest wings we’ve ever seen, and my friend not really being a sushi fan did not enjoy the spicy tuna roll; to my absolute pleasure as it meant I got to finish three starters by which point I was feeling quite full already. My main was the grilled fish, which was served with a gorgeous crispy skin and super tender meat, accompanying it was a fresh and lemony mango (?) butter & grapefruit cress salad which was very palate refreshing and helped the over all flavor. We ordered an extra portion of rice but this turned out to be superfluous alongside the already very filling rice- sides 1 & 2. I honestly would rate this restaurant a 10/10. The food was beautifully presented, well portioned and incredible in taste and evidently fresh. I was unsure what to expect as reviews I had read were honestly so mixed; some very very positive and some extremely negative. I am happy to report that the food was delicious, authentic, fresh and extremely moreish. I would love to return. Please find pictures below depicting the scrumptious food we ordered.”

  “Such a great experience at Sexy Fish! I’d heard so much about this place over the years and it definitely lived up to the hype. The interiors are absolutely stunning and there’s so much to look at everywhere, but what impressed me most was that the food was just as good as the setting. Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The sushi and sashimi platter was a real highlight, and we also loved the black cod, lobster and crispy duck & watermelon salad. The cocktails were excellent too — both beautiful and genuinely delicious. Service throughout the evening was warm, attentive and very professional, and the whole atmosphere really came alive as the restaurant filled up later in the evening. Definitely one of those places that feels like a complete London dining experience rather than just dinner. We had a wonderful evening and would happily come back!”

  “Came for a birthday dinner. Only praising words! From when we arrived,we were well looked after, waiters interacting with us, always checking in. Sexy Fish customer service takes it to the next level. Now the food. The yellowtail sashimi,the best I’ve ever eaten,fresh and that zingy sauce,the glazed teriyaki salmon takes you to heaven but that jasmine rice seals the deal. I had the sea bass which was equally excellent and the baby chicken superb. They even brought dessert with a candle with a birthday wish.The entire staff makes this restaurant shine. The ambience was convivial. Plenty of families was there for dinner.When we were leaving, a dj just started his set. Recommended place to celebrate.”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Sexy Fish London. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The restaurant has a stunning atmosphere with beautiful interiors and a lively ambience that makes the whole experience feel special. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the cocktails were just as impressive. What stood out the most was the outstanding service—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. It’s the perfect place for a special occasion or a memorable night out, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!”

  “Just amazing! From the friendly greeting at the door and the pleasant hostess on arrival and the knowledgeable efficient waiters as well as the beautiful decor and ambience. But of course, first and foremost, the scrumptious food. We went for the set lunch and every single dish was just beautifully presented and soooo delicious! Can't fault it one bit and can't wait to come back very soon. Well done Sexy Fish! Highly recommend this lovely friendly place with delicious food!”

  “My wife and I went for dinner on Friday evening. We were given a fantastic table close to the live music. Our server Martin was exceptional. From the food suggestions, to the attentive service, he really made the evening for us. Whilst the food was amazing, we will be returning because of Martin’s service. Personally, I think he’s the owner, doing one of those ‘secret CEO’ experiences. There’s no way he can be that passionate, considerate and consistent in such a challenging role and industry. Thanks to Hesham for ensuring we get the same table next time.”

  “**Sexy Fish, Mayfair – Style Over Substance** ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 (more 2.75ish) The ambience is undeniably impressive — you can see why Sexy Fish generates buzz. But if you're coming for the food, temper your expectations. We worked our way through quite a spread. The sashimi platters were decent but unremarkable, the tartars were disappointingly bland and not worth the price, and the croquettes felt like a stretch at £9 each — you're paying for the postcode more than what's on the plate. Fried rice was okay. The squid, tempura, and maki platters all landed somewhere in the "fine, but we've had better" category. The standout was the wagyu brioche — genuinely excellent. Though our second order arrived noticeably light on the wagyu, which we had to raise with the staff. They were gracious about it, but it left a slightly sour note. On the drinks front, the rosé was fantastic. Sexy Fish is worth a visit for the atmosphere and a cocktail, but as a serious dining destination it didn't live up to the hype. The price-to-quality ratio on the food left us underwhelmed. A 3/5 — and we'll probably stick to places where the kitchen matches the room.”

  “The restaurant is truly exceptional. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, creating a beautiful setting to relax — especially after a long day of shopping. We visited around 4 PM, and when the DJ started at 5, the whole experience transformed. Instead of feeling tired, we felt re-energized and ready for the evening. The food was outstanding. We began with a green salad with an incredible dressing, followed by sashimi that was so fresh and delicious we would have happily ordered more. The miso soup, served as a compliment, was one of the best we’ve ever had. For the main courses, we enjoyed more sashimi — the quality of the fish was exceptional, with a taste and texture that clearly stand out from a typical sushi restaurant. The sushi with asparagus and truffle was a perfect combination and beautifully executed. The caramelized codfish, a house specialty, was unique and absolutely delicious, and the seabass was tender and cooked to perfection. The service deserves special recognition. The hostesses were very kind, and our waiter, Martin, was truly outstanding. He took the time to guide us through the menu with great care, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel completely at ease. He even suggested a matcha cocktail, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious and perfectly balanced.”

  “totally lived up to the hype. From the moment you walk in, the space feels electric with beautiful design, vibrant atmosphere, and just the right level of buzz without being overwhelming. The food was exceptional. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, and every dish we tried had that perfect balance of flavour and creativity. The tuna tataki and crispy duck were standouts. Service was attentive and polished without feeling stiff, which made the whole experience feel relaxed but still special. It’s definitely a splurge, but worth it for a fun, high-end night out. Perfect for a celebration or when you just want somewhere that feels a bit extra.”
