About MAZA Mayfair
MAZA Mayfair is a Greek restaurant in Mayfair, London, on Bruton Pl, opened by the team behind Mazi and Suzi Tros and inspired by the mood of 1980s Athens. The menu is built around meze dishes made for sharing, tapas-style. Spicy feta with green Greek chillies is prepared in front of you, and shredded pork belly gyros comes with home-made pittas. Bread is ordered separately, though a small welcome plate of bread and butter is offered. Baklava is among the desserts. The wine list focuses on Greek wines, and cocktails are also served. The restaurant is walk-in. Bar counter seating lets guests watch the chefs prepare the food.
Good to know
“Maza is the latest opening from the team behind Mazi and Suzi Tros. Inspired by the mood of 1980’s Athens, Maza offers a convivial setting with bold flavours and generous plates, where lunches stay longer than you meant to and where dinners turn into night. This is Greek hospitality in the heart of Mayfair.”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the shredded pork belly gyros, with home-made pittas and a dill yoghurt dip, and describe it as a generous, shareable portion. Close behind are the tarama, the meatballs, the steak and the lobster rice, which one diner compares to a risotto. The bread, tzatziki, Greek salad and baklava also draw praise, and the sea bass carpaccio is one diner's standout. Service is repeatedly called attentive and knowledgeable, with one table noting accommodation of dietary requirements, and several mention a lively atmosphere and good decor. Opinions on portions split: one reviewer found the lamb tomahawks and chicken souvlaki small for the price and the sharing concept, while others call the mains generous. A few dishes missed for some, including the spicy feta, grilled calamari and disco fries, and one notes many sauces are lemon-forward rather than creamy. Two reviewers wanted a broader wine list than the all-Greek selection. One group celebrated an anniversary here, and another booked a dinner for twelve.
