  “THE WORST SERVICE IN THE WORLD This is honestly one of the worst customer-service experiences I have ever had in my life. I am a long-haul pilot and have travelled all around the world, and I can confidently say that this place is WAY BELOW ANY ACCEPTABLE SERVICE STANDARD. We ordered the simplest meal — fish and chips — and waited 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES for it to reach our table. During that time, we repeatedly asked the staff where our food was. Every time, we were told, “Coming, coming, coming.” Yet nothing happened. It was only after I finally raised my voice and made a serious complaint to duty manager and requested refund , to the point that security became involved, that suddenly our food appeared almost immediately. Is this really how customers are supposed to be treated? What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of customer service and basic courtesy. NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY. Not even a simple “sorry for the wait.” Nothing. The food itself was BELOW AVERAGE and certainly not worth the wait. There was absolutely nothing about this experience that would make me want to return. TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If you value your time and expect even a basic level of customer service, DO NOT COME HERE. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.😡😡😡”

  “No air conditioner inside the restaurant. Fried fish is just so so. View is really beautiful. If you like hot coffee, this place offers the hottest latte ever! I’m a Chinese, and I like to drink hot drinks!”

  “This cafe overlooks The Hyde park Lake and is a good stop to get some refreshments or a meal. The prices here are fairly expensive if you want to eat and the food itself is very average. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and toilet facilities. Service can be a bit slow on busy days.”

  “We stopped here for breakfast but we just missed the cut off time for it we stayed for drinks. Staff were attentive and friendly and the queue was moving in a great manner. The setting is amazing with views over the lake.”

  “I had a nice experience at Serpentine Bar & Kitchen in Hyde Park. The best part of this place is definitely the location. Sitting by the water with such a lovely view makes it a very pleasant spot to take a break, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. It is a great place to stop during a walk in Hyde Park, especially when the weather is good. The scenery really adds something special to the overall experience. When I visited, it was quite busy, so the place felt a little crowded and not as peaceful as I had hoped. Because of that, the service and overall atmosphere felt a bit rushed at times. It is clearly a popular place, which is understandable because of the excellent setting, but if you prefer a quieter experience, it may be better to visit at a less busy time. The food was good and enjoyable, and everything was nicely presented. However, it was not particularly memorable or amazing. It was decent quality and perfectly fine for a casual meal or snack, but not something that really stood out. That said, the lovely view and the nice outdoor atmosphere helped make the visit worthwhile. Overall, Serpentine Bar & Kitchen is a good place to visit if you want to enjoy a beautiful location in Hyde Park and have a meal with a scenic view. Even though it was busy and the food was good rather than great, I still had a pleasant time and would consider visiting again.”

  “We stayed in London for about 20 days, and almost every morning started the same way — a walk through Hyde Park to the Serpentine, followed by coffee by the lake. It genuinely became part of our daily rhythm. Going early (around 8–9am) makes a big difference. The park is calm, the lake is still, and you can just sit and watch people slowly start their day. Even on cold mornings, the indoor space is warm and very comfortable, with large windows opening directly to the lake — easily one of the nicest settings for a morning coffee in London. The coffee was consistently good. The taste did vary slightly depending on who was making it (you can tell the staff rotates), but we never had a bad cup. What we really liked is the relaxed, self-serve feel. There’s a central table where you can pick from a wide range of pastries and cakes — croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls, banana bread, and different kinds of sliced cakes and traybakes. Everything looks fresh and inviting, and it’s very easy to just grab something to go with your coffee. If you prefer a proper breakfast, the menu is also quite solid. Options like Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, shakshuka, pancakes (including bacon & egg or pistachio), porridge, and a full English or vegan breakfast are all available, so it works both for a quick coffee stop or a more complete morning meal. Later in the day it gets quite busy — which we also experienced when passing by — so if you’re after a quieter, more atmospheric experience, definitely go early. If you’re anywhere near Hyde Park, this is an easy recommendation. Sit down, have a coffee, pick something small from the table, and just enjoy the view of the Serpentine — it’s one of those simple London moments that stays with you.”

  “Just visited Serpentine Bar & Kitchen with Sajid and honestly, it was a 5⭐ experience from start to finish. The lakeside seating is the real highlight — super peaceful, scenic, and perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the moment. The ambience strikes a great balance between lively and calm, making it ideal whether you’re catching up with friends or just unwinding. We tried the matcha burger and fries, and both were spot on. The food was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor — definitely something a bit different from the usual. Great vibes, great food, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a chill spot with a view. Will definitely be going back!”

  “I genuinely like this place. Location is great, especially when it’s not packed and you can enjoy the silence of the Serpentine. I came here multiple times, and always got the burger. The burger is pretty decent. Last time, however, I got the fish and chips you see in the picture. And unfortunately I was not satisfied. There was way more batter than there was fish, so when I ate it I could only feel a fried and oily taste. I don’t want to give a bad review cause it’s a good place. I would just recommend to do a less thick batter and put more fish. Service is normal, there is no mise-en-place, you just order with the QR code and waiters bring you food to the table.”
