Customer Review Summary

Diners most often return to the Singaporean chilli crab, served with a bun, and describe it as spicy and sweet, huge in portion and fun to crack with the clamps, though very messy. The black pepper crab, which one table found pre-cracked and the best crab they had tried, comes close behind. Char kway teow, Singapore noodles and chicken laksa earn repeated praise, and one group had the char kway teow made extra spicy. Hainanese chicken, both corn fed and crispy, and roti canai also draw mentions. Service is called friendly and attentive even when the room is busy, and dogs are welcomed. The main criticisms are small: the soft shell salt and pepper crab was a little heavy on the fry, one table found the Singapore noodles and spring rolls good but standard, and one suggested a QR code for paying at the table. One diner's laksa went wrong, and the waiter waived the entire bill.

“The food was incredible. Very busy when we got there but we managed to get a seat and I would highly recommend the chilli crab. The portions were huge. The sauce was spicy and sweet, which I liked, and it was incredible to share. We shared that spicy crab with three people and it was amazing. We also managed to get some noodles and beef and aubergine, which was really lovely. Would highly recommend. Service was nice and it was a fun experience breaking the crab with the clamps and taking the food out. We were literally in a food coma after. Be warned: the crab is very messy to eat but was definitely the highlight.”

“This had become one of my favourite restaurants in London. I really enjoyed the black pepper crab on my previous visit and returned for dinner the following day. Unfortunately, halfway through eating my laksa, I found a cockroach in the dish. The waiter handled the situation professionally and waived the entire bill, which I appreciated. However, the experience was very upsetting and disappointing, especially as I had enjoyed the food so much. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and addresses the hygiene issue.”

“The dining room was super busy and lively, and I can completely see why this place is so popular. Families, kids and dogs all enjoying themselves at once, it had such a friendly atmosphere. The food was simply incredible. We had the Cold Cucumber Salad, Sing Char Kuay Teow with Prawns and the Singaporean Hainan Butter Rice with Crispy Chicken, and every dish was fantastic. Honestly I want to come back and try every single thing on the menu. The service was lovely too. It felt more like being welcomed into a family home than a restaurant. We'll definitely be back.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re visiting Tower Bridge, make sure you stop by Sentosa Restaurant—it’s only a short walk away and absolutely worth it. The Singapore chilli crab was outstanding—fresh, rich, and full of flavour. The char kway teow was just as impressive, and they happily made it extra spicy for us. Without a doubt, this was one of the food highlights of our UK trip. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit to London. Highly recommended!”

Great customer service, helpful and caring staff, Helen was thoughtful and ensured we were happy with our seating arrangements. Leanne helped us navigate the menu and answered all our questions. Overall lovely experience & Best lemon ice-tea!”
