About Flavours of Naples 🇮🇹
On Borough High St in London, Flavours of Naples is a family-run Neapolitan restaurant with live entertainment built into its week. Thursday is karaoke night, Friday brings a live opera singer, and Saturday features live jazz, so an evening meal comes with music on each of those nights. The kitchen serves pizza, a pasta of the day and a ravioli special filled with sweet potato and sage. Bread with dips is also on the table, and the drinks list includes prosecco. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
Live opera on Friday nights is what reviewers raise most, with several describing a singer performing right behind their table and one praising the acoustics in such a small room. Close behind is the food. The eggplant dish comes up twice, and others single out the sweet potato and sage ravioli special, the pasta of the day, pizza, and bread with dips. Staff are called friendly, with one party noting the kitchen worked around a dietary requirement. Karaoke and jazz nights also get a mention. The criticism is sharper. One Italian diner found the pastiera seemingly commercially made and overpriced, while another said the cost would feel steep without the opera. That first diner also describes staff collecting payment mid-dessert, then brightening the lights, turning off the music and bringing in outdoor chairs while they were still seated.

“I had a wonderful dining experience at this cozy Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Every dish we tried was beautifully prepared and full of authentic flavor. The eggplant dish was especially outstanding and is a must-try. Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner or a meal with family and friends, this place is an excellent choice. I will definitely be coming back. Grazie mille! شكرا السيد سيرو”

“We had the most incredible time at Taste of Naples last Friday evening. From start to finish we could not have had more attentive service and fyi, they have a live opera singer (who was fantastic). One of the party had special dietary requirements which the staff could not be any more accommodating to work around it. Nothing was too much! We will be returning shortly and cannot wait for the next visit. Thank you so much for making us all very spoilt and a great evening to celebrate my birthday. Looking forward to the next one already! Thank you so much Team Naples!”

“My friend and I were in the mood for dessert, and the waitress invited us in, mentioning that they had a great selection. We ordered a slice of pastiera and an apple juice. Unfortunately, the communication from the staff was quite confusing, particularly regarding the drinks, as they explained they only had one chilled apple juice left and the other was at room temperature. We said this was fine. However, shortly after we were served and while we were still eating, the staff came to our table to collect payment as the other customers had already left. We found this a little rude and intrusive, as it interrupted our meal. Once the payment was taken and the remaining guests had gone, the staff began closing the restaurant around us. The lights were made brighter, the music was turned off, and the doors were opened to bring in outside tables and chairs, making the space cold and uncomfortable. We were quite surprised by the lack of consideration and hospitality. As Italians, both my friend and I found the food disappointing by Italian standards, especially considering the prices. The pastiera was not enjoyable and appeared to be commercially made rather than freshly prepared. Overall, we found the customer service disappointing, the food overpriced for the quality offered, and the experience far from welcoming. I would not recommend this place, to me this is a 0 star!”

“I see this restaurant all the time on my way to work but never went until yesterday. What a gem of a place! From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The atmosphere, the cuisine, and the genuinely friendly staff. You can tell they really care about the experience they create. Their prosecco may taste innocent but don't be fooled it has a way of catching up with you. And then, there's Rose, their adorable cat casually wandering around and stealing hearts, such a beautiful creature. A truly memorable first visit, definitely not the last.”

“I’ve been transported back to Italy 🇮🇹. What an authentic and - importantly - delicious meal. The ravioli special (sweet potato and sage) really stood out. My boyfriend and I had a really fun evening here. Hosting and atmosphere were good too. We didn’t order pizza because we were in a pasta mood but we saw it coming out of the kitchen and it looked amazing.”
