About The Savanna London Bridge
The Savanna London Bridge is a South African grocery shop and restaurant at 59 St Thomas St in London, located at London Bridge Station. The shop sells biltong, droëwors and several flavours of boerewors, so shoppers can pick up South African cured and grilled meats to take home. Hot boerie rolls come from the counter for eating on the spot. The shelves hold South African groceries, along with South African beers and wines. Pre-prepared dishes are sold with taster pots, which lets customers try before choosing, and koeksisters are available to taste. The store sits opposite Vinegar Yard Market and is open daily.

“We don't live local to the savanna but wow what a great lunch and fabulous goodies for our "padkos". The boerie roll was a real treat from home and biltong loaded fries was just amazing - the cheese sauce compliments the flavoursome biltong!!! Great staff and fabulous atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff. If we had space we would have had some of their pre-prepared bobotie and Durban chicken curry! The taster pots hit the sweetspot! Well done Savanna!!! The shop offers a good range of south African products - biltong, droewors and boerewors are great quality (+varied flavour of boerewors!). Good range of spices, groceries and drinks choices.”
